Glacier Bay Alaska Cruise Timelapse Majestic Princess September 22 2023
Sit back and relax as you enjoy a 45 minute timelapse of what you can expect to see cruising through Glacier Bay in Alaska. We had a port (left side) balcony on the Majestic Princess which gave us a great view if the glaciers. By mounting a GoPro on the balcony window we were able to capture the stunning scenery that is Glacier Bay in Alaska.
We have also included some photos from 2018 when we were last in Glacier Bay (on the Nieuw Amsterdam) to highlight how much the glaciers have receded in the past 5 years.

2018 Deluxe cabin review and campfire. Fort Stevens State Park and campground. I hope I covered everything, if not, leave a comment! BBQ comes with propane. You will need wood for the fire pit. Cabins have electric heat with thermostats in every room. Wheelchair accessible.

ALSO A FULL KITCHEN WITH A STOVE & MICROWAVE FULL FRIDGE AND LIVING ROOM WITH A PULLOUT QUEEN BED & DINNING AREA. ALSO COMES WITH A COVERD PORCH WITH A WOODEN BENCH SWING. OUTSIDE IT HAS A FIRE PIT, BBQ & PATIO CHAIRS & TABLE. THE DELUXE CABIN SLEEPS 6-7 PEOPLE.
Hi Jane, thanks for your feedback. Yes we did stay in a deluxe cabin. All what you described is in the video. We are not sure where you stayed that has a separate bedtoom, ours was the bunk bed. Maybe different parks have different layouts. Question. I would LOVE to do the helicopter tour from our Star Princess 15 day cruise shore excursion LIH-800 we are going on next November 2020. Do you know if this is the same shore excursion (both Princess Cruises)? and is this a Closed helicopter. My wife saw some videos of "open" helicopters where you are exposed to the air and she was scared to death and said she would not do it. If she is enclosed INSIDE a helicopter I might be able to get her to do it? And info would be helpful. The Princess Cruises listing doesnt give much details or what company they use. Thanks so much
I would think that Princess only uses the one company in Kauai. Blue Hawaiian Helicopter. They were excellent.

Nicely done! Always tricky to get steady shots out of a helicopter. Nice choice of music mixed with the narration of the guides. When Jayne and I did the flight years ago the pilot was barefoot. Different rules over there!
Thanks Kevin. Julie did a great job! The music was a part of the audio they gave us. We also could not bring our gimble on board. My new camera (Lumix G85) does have 5 axis stabilization though.
