How I Wash My Hand Embroidered Clothing
Hi everyone! In this video I describe how I wash my hand embroidered clothing. I have included a demo showing you one of my pieces before and after machine washing. Let me know if you have any questions! You can find my embroidery on Instagram: @thelakeofspring - I would love to hear what you would like to see next :)

Thank you very much🤍. great video. How do I ironing the embroidery? please
Thanks for the vedio it's very nice, right now I have a garment I bought and it's embroidered the problem is that the strands of the embroidery are delicate and can be pulled off easily how can I go about it please
Hey, thank you for this it was really insightful! Could you possibly make a tutorial on how to make your embroidery last long on clothing, I would love that!
This video is really helpful. I had been looking for an answer for this exact situation for awhile and no one else had answered it very well yet. Thank you. I don't know if it is something you can control or not on upload or filming or if your other videos are different as this is the first one that I have watched, but your video is much quieter than other TH-cam videos and it makes it difficult to hear (I'm not hard of hearing, but I have four kids so quiet doesn't happen often in my house). So if you could find a way for the volume to be louder (I have it cranked on my computer and it sounds like you're whispering) that would be awesome!
I connect up speakers to my computer and puff problem solved. I hope this helps you and the sound quality on all videos much better.
@@peachesfireside178 I have a laptop and no desk, hence no speakers other than those in my computer...I know I'm not the only one with a laptop or an iPad that can't adjust sound more than what internal speakers will allow. I even tried a headset, which is usually quite loud, and still had to really crank it up to hear it.
Can you make a tutorial on how to tie it off without a knot
Thanks for the tips, great video ❤️
Any recommendations regarding thread? I'm using DMC cotton thread for my normal embroidery but read that it bleeds a lot. Also, did you use a hand washing program on your machine or can you just toss it in with your normal clothes? I'd love to see more tips & tricks videos on wearable embroidery.
Anchor is the best. It is stronger and more withholding.
you’re so gorgeous... first thought opening this
thank you so much for this video! Really needed
