Variety is the spice of life, and Eflite certainly made these capable of beyond scale maneuvers. Thanks for watching!

I actually emailed them to let them know what model I had, they then provided the right scale, which I don't recall. They are very easy to work with and respond to emails quickly.

Only other thing I can think of would be overtightening the screws that hold the prop assembly together, but the manual certainly doesn't provide any torque recommendations. I don't think I use more than half power on any of my warbirds at takeoff. Thanks for watching!

Hey, Mark. Just want to tell you. I definitely believe my prop blades could have been overtightened because I overtightened everything LOL.

All The 1400 series are puppy dogs! They fly so sweet and are actually super light if you have the 650kv motor in them. (Like this one does). I fly mine with 4k-5k all day 100% rates with a bit of expo planes fantastic. Only downside to this plane is sometimes the gear get loose inside and need replacing. That’s it it’s a fantastic plane. I have well over 100batteries through mine.

So far, I have no complaints about how it fly's. Not as fast as the Eflite 1.5 Mustang, but it has enough power to get the job done. And for a warbird, it is docile on the runway.

@ that’s awesome 👏🏽! I have both Eflite 1.5 warbirds and honestly the mustang is my least favorite. I think the setup is just a bit too heavy for the front of the bird. The fms P47 1500 seems better balanced for the similar setup. Not sure if wing area is the difference 🤷🏾. But I also prefer the fms 1450 p-51 with the p40 650 kv motor 4s over the 1.5 mustang. May be a bit slower but seems to fly much better. Both great birds of course. Even The Eflite FW 190 seems built a bit better than the 1.5 mustang. Maybe it’s a later release. Anywho I’m glad we can have all these great choices and guys like you posting flights! Check out the new Seagull obsession p-51, I think I’m going for it as my next P-51 😉

@@Hype_RC You mean the main gear wobble after awhile? ive had that happen on twist n turn retracts before because of the guide pin starts to get sloppy

One of my flying buddies has the FMS 1.4 Mustang. We did a tandem flight a while back with the Eflite 1.5 Mustang and posted the video of it on the channel, should be under the 1.5 Mustang file, check it out. If the 1.5 Mustang landed easier ( at least on pavement, no problem on grass ), it would be one of my all time favorites. Flys and looks amazing and has power to spare on 6S. Going to have to try it again soon, been almost a year since I have flown it and I have gotten better with tail draggers since then. The P 40 is a walk in the park to takeoff and land with!

I used Zapp medium CA for the repair on the plastic parts that support the landing gear. My guess would be that will not hold long term. Probably going to have to try something like JB weld or the E6000 glue a few people have mentioned. Thanks for watching!

@@MarksAultimateRC CA is rigid and breaks under shock loads. Epoxies are flexible. 15 minute is more flexible than 5 minute. Lay a thin coat about an inch square on a piece of wax paper. Try to fold it in half after it is dry. You will see what I mean.

It’s always a bummer when a good plane goes down, but that's why I have a lot in the hanger! It is amazing how the smallest mistake can lead to such a dramatic ending, but definitely part of the hobby. When I first started this hobby, I would usually go to the field with 3 or 4 planes and come home with 2 or 3 to repair LOL. Thanks for watching!

I have Gorilla glue, but have not used it on a plastic to plastic repair before, which is what broke on this. Got a feeling I am going to be trying multiple products to see what holds it together. Thanks for watching!

Ive used gorilla glue in the past but not on this plane, You are the second person that has recommended e6000, going to have to check that stuff out

My landing approach begins 1 minute before it's time to land. Still high, I deploy full flaps and steadily reduce speed while being very gentle on the turns. Just like full size jets, I have the RC EDF gradually descend while reducing speed. My final approach is long, scalelike and flat. Touchdown is always on the mains after a minimum of flare. As we know, any swept wing plane is prone to tip stall and, at low altitude, these prove fatal. Note how the jet tip stalls before the crash landing. This is exactly how EDFs with swept wings stall and no amount of SAFE will save it. In addition, I would NEVER fly a 70 mm, let alone an 80 mm EDF in a place like the one shown in the video-too many obstructions. In addition, where I live (Los Angeles County), I would have been asked by the police to leave and to not fly model planes at a public park. An 80 mm EDF really needs a place like a club field or a very large area devoid of any obstructions to fly it SAFELY and to get the most out of it.

Here, the police stop by and chat with us and watch us fly, along with many other people in the neighborhood. This is a public school, so it is not illegal to fly here - we have permission from the school anyways and people have been flying here for over decade. Thanks for watching

One of the "nice things" about recording your own video's, you can go back and watch your screw ups as much as you want. That same right main gear has failed before, got a video posted of that too, but at the end of the day, if your short you should go around. @MarksAultimateRC That depends on the mAh of your battery and the remaining percentage after landing. I always start with 3 minutes for my jets and go from there, adding 30-second increments until I land with around 20%. 👍🏾👍🏾

It is worth it to drive to your nearest flying field... I was hesitant for a long time. Pay the $150, and you will really learn how to fly. There are so many good pilots there. They love to help you because that's what they do best👌!

When I am not working full time, I likely will. Will probably check out some of the ones that are closer, but they only have grass strips, so wouldn't be able to fly the majority of my planes

I don't know why they don't. A brand new one showed up on facebook for $400, contemplated going to get it, sold less than a day.

@MarksAultimateRC Im sure it did sell quick. The Freewing one is pretty close to $600. and that's PNP. Eflite would most likely make it a BNF.
