I got a question to your Android Display on your A7 (comments are off there :( ) - Did you manage somehow to get the Android Screen / MMI Display to the VirtualDash which you also installed on your a7?
How did you actually do it. I see you used HDMI in in the VirtualDash, BUT how did you get the Phone Mirror to Dash and MMI? Was there another box included which got you "PhoneMirror to HDMI" OR has the VirtualDash an HDMI output? Second question, do you know a way to get Video OUT of the MMI, like clone original MMI Display to VirtualDash? (i own already a carplay box for my mmi 3g+ and i want to clone the display to my VirtualDash)

Download it offline from the vcd website, but you still have to get the odb unit

Hi, how did you get the headliner out of the car? I looked up the official way and they say you have to remove the windshield and slide it out the front?
Got mine out the back hatch
@@darkhalooo7 thanks, are there any tricks to it? Did you have to remove the side trims as well to get it out?
@@Henry-nr3sfyes you have to take off all side trims. Pretty much everything that’s touching the headliner

I ran wires from back where the other cam is and over the headliner
What kind of miles are you getting on the motorway?
I think the most I got was 535 on a trip
Question is the immo box located where the cluster is or is it located in the steering column ? I’m referring to the Immobilizer module I’m trying to replace one currently

You cannot get the A7 headliner out without creasing it. Only way is to take off windshield

@@KrsonecfI didn’t did a video or anything for it… I wish I had, I’ll see if I can find something that will help…. Only part really gave me trouble was the sunroof. Once I got it down I angled it to pull out the trunk

Efficiency mode didn't do much for me so I turned it off. We have different engines, and my 3.0T will disengage the supercharger which does increase fuel efficiency noticeably over older cars that don't have that ability. I'm tuned anyway and have a work vehicle, so an extra MPG or two isn't devastating.

Comes out the trunk pretty easy, I did it alone, but if you had help it would be earier

Man this was real helpful to find the location of the module. I got the 2006 L322 and same thing...suspension light just blinks when its touched and nothing goes up or down. Same code too...C1A00-54 permanent failure so cannot erase the code. This has helped me immensely thanks!

How much did it cost doing this and what is needed ?
I paid about $180 for the kit. Only thing needed is kit, hot glue gun, a big needle or something to punch the holes and a lil time.
