Journey, Molly Hatchet, Motorhead, Cheap Trick, Accept, Twisted Sister, Rush, Danzig, QR, Van Hagar, Joan Jett, Billy Squiar, Skid Row, Neil Young, Sammy, Ozzy, Aerosmith, U2, (isn’t even rock really) Maiden, (definitely is not hard rock), Scorpions, Foreigner, Dire Straits, Judas Priest, Dio, Billy Idol, ZZ Top, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Tesla are NOT hard rock! These bands are just rock, sleaze, progressive rock, heavy metal & thrash metal! Plus you left off Dream Warriors & that’s one of Dokkens best! You clearly show you have zero clue to what the genres truly are! squiar is good but nowhere near better than Ratt! Warren & Robbin both destroy Billy on guitar! Stephen has a distinct voice that Squiar could never dream of replicating! Several of these songs are 70’s! You have truly earned every thumbs down you get!

Some of the artists like Iron Maiden, Motley Crue and White Lion are more laggressive than Hard Rock. I don't think U2 has ever made a hard rock song and Sultan of Swings (1978) is Pup Rock (AKA Rock music from pubs/bars. Long history), but all of the songs are beyond awesome either way.
Anyway You Want It, Ain't Talkin' Bout Love and Runnin' with the Devil came out in 1978. Flirtin' with Dissaster, Surrender, Highway to Hell, Panama and Young Lust came out in 79. Since You've Been Gone was released in 1976.

Good catch on the others though. I think there may be a few more that were from the '70s. I was actually thinking the Skid Row album may have come out in '90, and maybe even the Doctor Feelgood album as well. I'll let it slide though if so. Skid Row definitely was the end of that era unfortunately. Their timing was just too late.
