Golden Hour During a 100-Mile Longboard Ride
A segment from the last hour of my 100-mile ride on my longboard skateboard. This was part of an event called Monster Push March which took place on the Withlacoochee State Trail in Dunnellon, Florida on March 5th, 2023.
Zach George and I were the only two people who completed the painstaking yet beautiful century ride that day. This clip is from the last hour when the sky turned gold to guide us toward our goal. We completed the long distance skateboard ride in about 12 hours including breaks.

True, Landyachtz used to make a Switchblade 36 but I'm not sure if they're continuing it because I don't see it sold on their website. I've been using the Hollowtech Switchblade 36 for my long distance races for the past year and loving it.

Hey Neena, how did you learn to do manuals? Did it take a long time and wipeouts? You can do them on different length boards so that tells me it isn't about the board but some kind of counterbalance technique? Teach me pls, its the trick I want to learn the most.
Hello there, I hope this late reply still helps you. I practice manuals a lot of the time when I'm cruising. I've had a few wipeouts from them, mostly when going really fast. But usually when I mess up the tail just scrapes the ground and I keep riding. It's all about finding that sweet spot with your balance so try out several different foot positions until you find where it's the easiest. You'll want to have most of your weight on your back foot and just use the front foot to level out the board to keep it balanced. Good luck!

the video and your dancing is awesome!! Just a quick question: do you recommend to put tail guards on this board? I am considering getting Stratus also but I am a bit worried about the nose/tail of the board will wear off so quickly.
Hey thanks! I don't think the Stratus needs tail guards. I've used mine for a long time and it's really durable. The tails will wear down over time if you do a lot of freestyle but they're long enough to still be functional even if you wear down an inch or two. That said, noseguards could make a good addition to your setup. But I don't think they're necessary

Amazing man, your style reminds me a lot of the OG skaters like Tony Alva, Stacy Peralta and the Z Boys in general, very classy but rad way of skating! Love it, cruising is the pinnacle and heart of skating, we all fell in love w just being able to ride anywhere.
