Anyone know when Rheem is coming out with R454b units?

You really need to seriously update your app to meet the demands and compatibility challenges of today's technology. We just bought a home here on the Oregon coast and have the Rheem 50 gallon hybrid water heater. When we first hooked it to the Econet app, it took a couple of tries for the app to "see" out WIFI but we finally got it to connect. It ran perfectly for about a week and then it just stopped working. We couldn't get it to see the network at all and all the functions were frozen and would not respond. We even bought a "booster" for our WIFI to strengthen the signal. Still doesn't work. We finally had to contact their customer service and he tried a number of ways to get it to connect (with us on another phone) and nothing worked. We tried for over an hour. All he said to us at that point was keep trying because the Econet app "doesn't like" the newer Android smartphones. At this point we are seriously considering buying an "older" Android phone to see if it will work with that. It's really frustrating and disappointing that we have this technology and can't even use it because it can't even "see" out WIFI because our phones are too new.

Anybody cough from the mist no mater the pressure and setting? Maybe toxic chemicals in the hose? My dogs hate it compared to my shower head, which is stronger.

Is not an easy setup. Mine was connected then lost connection and it disconnected and I cannot get it back connected again...😢so frustrating

They units with one interior unit make cool in winter and aren't good. The SPLIT UNITS with indoor unit and exterior unit are good water heater heat pumps.

Raheem water heaters break down all the time, can you guys make a proper water heater?

So far I've wasted more than two hours trying to send a question to Rheem about a warranty issue. Doesn't matter what browser I use. The problem's with the Rheem site. I can only hope that their products suck less than their website.

I own this, it's warm at best on "HOT SETTING" and the hot setting needs more options like SHOWER & FLOOD. I hope Rheem can come out with a new product that is better in future

Rheem water heaters are very poor quality. I have had to replace my water heater twice in the last five years. Each lasted about two years. Both leaked (different places) and I had to either pay out of pocket amortization wait 4days for rheem tech. Sustainability? Try to sustain an actual product that last more than 2years. Horrible products.

Way too loud, just put one in last week. They even removed the decibel rating from the newer models. Yeah, I don't see any way you would install this in your kitchen. This thing is 70 decibels a few feet away. It's 60 decibels in the upstairs parts of the house. The compressor makes a ringing noise along with a loud droning sound. Even if the compressor didn't make any noise, I can't see you having this in the kitchen. Just blowing cold air to the inside of the house whenever it's on.

If I hade 1 of these water heaters In my basment that is very well Ventaletated would the noise Still be to noisy plus what and We're in Indiana we're I live Would put it in what type of Price what type of tax credits And what type of monthly savings On gas bill

What an over complicated turd. No power then what no hot water all the extra venting and electronics stick with pilot light models simple and reliable my Rheem on 7 years no issues .

It may be efficient but it is excessively loud. We have one in our unit and it drives us crazy. We have gotten it replaced and it still sounds extremely loud. It produces a very high pitched noise.

Why does it not show the heating unit itself, of all the photos and videos I haven't seen it.

I had a Sure Comfort 5 ton ac/heat pump installed July 2022. Sept 2023 it quit working!! 2 months past labor warranty and the company that installed it wants $1485 for labor to install a new compressor they say is shot.

Keep it coming Rheem! Also, will you be selling the 120V heat pump hot water tank in the North west coast states (Oregon, Washington)? Not just in the warmer south states. I’d love to plug one in in Bellingham, WA.

why not also sell standalone units for under sinks?

Love the advance of more efficient ways to heat water. What is its efficiency compared to a more regular gas HWT?Thanks Rheem Team for another great product! (The heat pump HWT was another one! 🙏)
