Was this in waco? I think I remember this
Sounds like practically every single amp I've ever owned with built in reverb: Vox AC30C2, Vox AC30TB, 76 Fender Twin, Fender Deluxe reissue, Mesa Boogie Mark 2.... It's what can happen when large amounts of electricity are fizzing around in a metal box. On almost every single live recording of just about anyone I've ever heard who use loud tube amps you can hear this from time to time.
wooow I love this amp,
Bro i dropped the upper half of my clarinet and it bent so i couldnt even play
Nice amp. I am thinking about getting one. I play low volume, like 2 or 2.5 and at home only. Do you think the VS15 is good enough for me and do you still recommend? Seems much better built than the Princeton Reverb. Do you have any hum or noise?
Definitely better-built than the Princeton! I think this is a great practice/at home amp - although I've never played the VS15 but I suspect it would be fine for low-volume, at home playing! Although I sold this amp, seemed to be very quiet to me. BTW, I ended up buying a Gries 36 amp for a bit more power!
@@glotts71 Thank you.
Hey I’ve got the same issue with my Syncopy. Is unplugging and plugging back in till it works the only solution you found?
Hey there - it ended up being a defective pedal, so had to ship it to England to have it repaired!
Amazing soloist loved running the mics for u

Chucky buddy dolls says "I'm coming 4 ya" Best of luckkkkkkkkk -R
Correct me if im wrong but was the Ballad Dancer in the dark?
Yes, I know its a few years too late but yes it was, New World by Bjork
I'm gonna be in that band next year...XD
This is heavenly
Thank you for uploading these!
O'Connor band is better
This band is great
Anyone aware of any mods that can address this issue and still allow for noiseless 'verb and FX usage? Returning the amp is no longer an option for me. This is a serious issue with an otherwise very sweet head.
I was there and played
Chunmun's goel I was also there and played.
@@JordanH-qq1wm i was also there and played
Yep same here. I can't really use this amp in low volume situations as the hiss is too prominent for my liking.
Can you disconnect the reverb and remove the tank? I don't use reverb on mine.
Hey everyone! The problem with this amp is, as Tien from the customer service from Boogie wrote me, that the reverb tank is too close to the power supply within the chassis. That means that there are electromagnetic interferences, as I undestand it. I owned this amp for a short period and it really is a great sounding amp, but my local guitar dealer took it back and instead sold me a Lonestar Special. This amp is very similar and even better sounding as I think.
Its a modern amp based on several classic amp designs. I'd expect a little hiss when you increase the gain. Ever hear a Vox AC-30, a Marshall plexi, or even a tweed or blackface Fender turned up to 10? They all hiss and hum somewhat. If it bothers you, get a decent noise gate to clamp down on the hiss when you stop playing.
I seriously thought that there was something wrong with my TA 30.I live in Humboldt County about four hours from Petaluma where they are manufactured.I was gonna call em up and drive there to see what was going on.Now I see that it is just part of owning this amp. It realy is irritating when you switch the FX reverb switch...Hiss I mean. I use reverb quite alot so I guess we are just stuck with this . The amp sounds great except for this issue. Thanks for posting.
Yeah, this amp really did have fantastic tone - and it's in such a great, small package. Just too much hiss for mic'ing up in a live or studio setting - I ended up going with a Mark V, which is truly the best amp I've ever owned (Road King II included!) . . .
