物理法則として回転体は、高速回転すればするほど『ジャイロ効果』によって、軸を中心に慣性力が働き姿勢制御として安定します。 要するに、低速回転時は、ハンドルが取られ易く転倒し易いので、勇気をもって回転数が上がるまでは片手でハンドルを軽く握り、回転速が乗ってきたら両手でハンドルを握る。 勿論、漕ぎだし時は重心に気を付ける必要がありますが、回転数が上がれば、『ジャイロ効果』による慣性力が働く為、重心の位置を必要以上に気にする事は無くなります。 その為、高速回転時は、ハンドルから手を反しての手放し運転も可能です。逆に言えば、低速での手放し運転は、速度が低下すればするほど難しくなります。 宇宙空間でも、人工衛星はこの方法を利用して、姿勢制御やバランスと取っています。 だから、宇宙望遠鏡でも正確な位置で正確な方向を見続ける事が可能なのです。

This is a real help; however, this video goes far too fast and expects a lot of pre-knowledge? It would help to have a slower, more detailed video of fitting a bike with no quick release, and the same for one with a quick release., step by step.

Does the trainer have an Erg Mode? Ie can you set say 200 watts and have the trainer adjust so that wattage level is kept to?

Because Apple has now updated its firmware to iOS 9, LiveTraining iPhone app is always crashing when connecting to Bluetooth SMART 4.0 speed and cadence sensor. Soneru Inc. hasn't done any bug fixes yet but, hopefully, they're gonna solve this problem and fix the issue sooner. LiveTraining app and Minoura Magteqs Twin Turbo Indoor Cycling Trainer are good combination in simulating the power generated by a cyclist for a cheap cost. You don't have to buy an expensive power meter.

I just bot a Magteqs Twin because the website says it does ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart. Exactly what *does* the trainer transmit? The logical thing would be power, which you just confirmed in the video. The Magteqs Twin is one of your best trainers. On the website, some of the cheaper trainers have only one communications protocol logo and the cheapest have none. This further confirms that this top of the line highend trainer has more electronics than its lesser siblings. The video shows more information displayed, and the website shows additional sensors. For instance, you can add a heart rate or speed/cadence sensor. At no point does it imply a speed/cadence sensor is required to see power any more than a heart rate sensor is. In the comments you replied that the trainer calculates power instead of measuring it. That would still be pretty good. At least the value transmitted over ANT+ would make use of the level setting, and any cycling computer could make use of it. You said the power value is 95% accurate, which is really good for something with as much variability as a roller squished an unknown distance into a tire of unknown size, type and inflation... :P However, i see nothing which digitizes either the position of the level setting knob or the speed of the flywheel to base the calculations on! Can you show me on the "schematics" where this info is encoded, processed and transmitted, and where the power source is for those electronics? If the iphone app just guesses everything from info which doesn't even come from the trainer, why is there an ANT+ and a Bluetooth Smart logo next to the trainer? If the trainer is purely mechanical it has no more right to those logos than an all plastic smartphone mounting bracket. Did i miss something, or did you guys just do a major no-no for which you could get into legal trouble? :D
