I didn't feel that much delay between it off and on, the game did feel smoother though

@ I just tried it. While the input delay is minimal I can still feel it and it annoys me. It’s more when you aim down sight. When I aim down sight I have quite tuned muscle memory so any slight difference I can feel. I could maaaaybe get used to it but I don’t want to try haha. I do get a 200 frames average without FG so I was just being greedy I guess.

Have you tried using nvidia reflex? That is meant to counter input delay

@ I did yeah. It wasn’t too bad like it said, but I definitely noticed it and it was off putting.

DLSS is upscaling and DLAA is the best anti-aliasing, you will get better performance with DLSS but DLAA looks really good.

and play 30fps with copiums amount of upscaling hell no🤣

@@akumatie Bro I played it on my kids Series X for 3 hours with no issues. Get on my PC with I9 10900k and 3080ti and massive issues. I am sticking with the no issues for now...

@@draynged7869 yeah that seems really bad as your system is good enough for the game, does your PC crash in any other games or just STALKER? I'm playing on the Xbox store store with game pass, I did have a friend who has a 3090 and a 5950X have crashing but he was on steam

@@akumatie LOL Bro I feel so stupid. I had Nvidia Latency or whatever it's called turned on randomly. Now I am running Epic everything DLSS Quality / Motion and Sharpness Off / FSR Enabled, and eventually turned on Vsync to get rid of screen tearing. Now it runs like a champ...

Nice one, that latency thing you're been screwing with your game, I do have that turned on but I can try it off seeing what happens

I think you would be fine with a 4060, if you play on High settings with Frame Generation and quality DLSS you would get way over 60fps in this game

4060 will do 1080p fine at max. You even have dlss and fg.

@@PatrickBellWebDev Doing that would mean you are using more of your GPU so that's makes sense, my games 1% lows might be lower as I only have 6000MT/s RAM while on 3XD CPUs you do have much faster memory transfers than me, if I spent extra for ram like 8400MT/s the 1% lows would be much better

Yeah your CPU might be better than mine in this game, also I am recording from my GPU that could take a hit of performance.

@@akumatie No way. 14700k blows his out of the water especially for gaming... This game is shitty UE5. I would assume this game may utilize multithreads like crazy, but this is one game whereas your CPU is far better for overall gaming. Not to mention they will keep fixing the game...

@@draynged7869 I just tested the game again, this no recording just raw gameplay and now I'm getting getting performance around 10 more fps. I do record in a demanding preset on the GPU hence why that was the case

@@akumatie I am 6 hours in this game, and had to restart my PC like 6 times. Not to mention the buggy crap with the animation glitches, and lag spikes. I had none of that so far on the Series X. Like at all....

Yeah seems like it as there are no ray tracing options in the menus

@ right because UE5 has baked in ray tracing so it probably goes on when you use the highest settings.

I didn't test it as it doesn't make much difference in fps, and it's better to use DLAA with frame gen

If you are playing 1080p high settings sure would run fine, you might need to use FSR3 Frame Gen though

i have i5 9600k, rtx 2070s and ultrawide 2k LG, from low settings i get from 35 to 55.. in spawn area where the videos is. i think is a cpu issue

You can check your CPU usage in MSI afterburner, being a 2K Ultrawide not really sure, could be a lack of hyperthreading

That means that the game is properly using my hardware and I don't have a CPU bottleneck which is good.

Yeah it seems like it, good job you can use Frame Gen on the modern cards, there is also that FSR 3 frame gen for all cards but I don't think that is as good as DLSS.

try to use DLSS(quality/etc) and have at least 60 fps or preferably more, then turn on Frame gen. That way input lag is lessened compared to say, 40 fps + fg on where you'll feel it more.

Yeah if you don't have an NVIDIA card and using frame gen there would be a input delay, NVIDIA reflex fixes this problem mostly as it decreases latency But the game should not be depending on Frame Gen or upscaling for decent performance.

@@akumatie Yea even with reflex i can still feel the delay just enough to be jarring. really hope that optimization can fix it, i hate UE5 but it does look beautiful

Yeah game looks really good, it's unfortunate that I needed to enable frame gen to get over 60fps. I hope Flight Sim 2024 allows you to actually use your hardware instead of half.

Yeah I found this mission to be a little annoying as you need to time the attack perfectly to actually hiit him or he just throws you to thhe ground😂

Arctic LF2 240mm with Noctua 12x25 fans, this game is really CPU demanding + I'm recording off the Igpu so it'll get hot as it's pushing power, on games like GTA 5 or non open world games it doesn't get as hot.

You need to lower your framerate to 30fps, go into graphics settings go to res, make sure it's 30hz and turn on V-SYNC and it wont inf load after that.

Games doesn't work

Brake boosting does not work for GTA IV, only works in GTA V, but if you want to drive faster in GTA IV you can kerb boost where you drive over kerbs and small indents on roads and will boost your cars speed works good with cars like the Sultan RS or Romans cab as they have a bouncy suspension, works in any car.

The FPS was about 10-20fps lower as I was recording, I did record at 1440p 25k bitrate, but it didn't affect the 1 and 01% lows

I was speaking to kyle (WR runner) and he was trying it and you feel like there is a boost but you speed doesnt change

@@ttkftykyfts We have tried the sultan RS and other cars at 250, 120, 24fps and they’re the same results but the one when brake boosting is a little slower, we had a discussion about it in the speedrunning discord with proof if you want to see the results but the only gta game I see brake boosting actually working is gta5

@@akumatie that's weird cuz short shifting is actually working in gta4 as well as it does in gta5

@@YBHawk77 The physics engine is more realistic in gta 4 because in gta 5 they needed to tone it down but in both games curb boosting works and you can double clutch in both games.

Does curb boosting work? I’m assuming it doesent because the suspension in gta IV is different
