Thanks bro that was helpful
''Actually make a good game'' 😂👌 yeah, that makes sense! Seriously, thanks for your reddit tips!
I can’t look up my game help
thanks for the great tips! very honest and straight to the point
I honestly didn't consider Reddit for some reason :P Thanks!
This was a fantastic video, and I'm super glad I came across it! I haven't tried Reddit yet and always felt like posting to the "new releases" itch forum was a waste of time... Now I know lol
I’m glad you found it helpful!
5:26 Add copyright free music. Too bad I am a composer. 😉
Hahah yeah me too!!!
0:33 "Be an active member of reddit" me: picks up a fedora starts typing "women ☕" gets upvotes
I’m confused… if I don’t post on self-promotion subreddits, where else to I post it?
Post to subreddits where your target audience are. Let’s say your a gaming channel, you would post on a subreddit where gamers are and if it’s specific to a game post on that subreddit.
@@unlimiteddevtutorials9490 where would I post the actual link to the game once they click on the profile?
The link to the game is in the first post. But then make others on similar topics afterwards
@@unlimiteddevtutorials9490 would I post that on r/itchio or what?
It's always the smallest channels who give the best information. I think this was very helpful, thank you for sharing the tips
Thank you! I’m glad that the video was of value to you.
You don't seem to have that many views, which seems like a shame. I've been watching a view of your videos tonight and they seem really good to me as someone trying to get into game development. I really appreciate your videos.
Thank you very much! That means a lot to me
invest in a pixel art program if your a 2d game dev. i recommend Asprite
Good video with some great points, but a constructive criticism here: try add more personality to your video, making jokes etc because it sounds like your reading an essay right now and feels a bit soulless. u earned a sub tho👍
Thank you very much, especially for the sub. I'll try to be more like the real me in my videos. I think sometimes I try to be too professional but next time I'll try keep it less formal.
@@unlimiteddevtutorials9490 np bro just helping, also what year are you in?
That's very helpful. Thanks for sharing this!
Glad it was helpful!

No Problem!
Great video keep it up!
Thank you!
Thanks for the tips, very useful! :)
No problem, I am glad that you find them helpful!
Nice video! Are you working on your own game?
Thank you! And I’m not currently working on a game, since I want to focus on TH-cam right now. However, I do have 3 games on itch.io!
Curious, so you rate Unreal Engine for more experienced, team based developers or groups? Unity needed less points while Unreal Engine needed double the amount.
I think that c++ is harder to learn than c# which is why I put it for more experience and I usually see more teams using unreal engine than unity but solo devs using unity. Just my opinion. But the higher the score doesn’t mean the better so I’m not saying that unreal is better than unity if that’s what you mean. Hope this helps!
Very interesting, havent seen any videaos with format like this.
Thank you!
