@@guitarbrut Oh, great, thank you very much, i love it! This song has so much drive, so beautiful and crazy legato parts - these smooth notes are like a waterfall. And I have the same opinion regarding how really important is to try to play these best parts as in original as much as possible, and you can really do this! It helps to keep the spirit of the track. Some solo beats have really explosive force! I think, you'll also get a great pleasure!😉

btw, do you have a perfect pitch or play by tabs/notes most complicated parts?

@@MrAquirier thanks man, i really appreciate your comments!, i wish i had perfect pitch!, it's really hard to get accurate tabs for the most complicated parts so what i do is importing the mp3 into my DAW (FL studio) and slow it down and i mean reaaally slow until i can listen to each note with headphones, then i try figuring out where it's being played on the neck (watching live videos also helps), that's not to say what im playing is 100% accurate but i always try to get the feel of the studio versions, i've been listening to Satriani music since the early 00's so i guess that also helps since i'm very familiar with the songs before i attempt to play them, hope this helps a little! again, thanks for listening in! 🙂

@@guitarbrut many thanks for spending time to answer my question. TH-cam has now even 0.25x speed out of the box and the slowed down note really keeps sound as original note and it is helpful sometimes. So, it looks like even perfect pitch doesn't guarantee you can hear all quick notes as in original. This info is really helpful to me, now I feel a little bit better:)

thank you!, these days i do anywhere from 30 min to 2 hours, i'ts not a lot but being consistent with it helps!

most i've practiced daily is around 6-7 hours when i had the time, but that was a long time ago (back when i was starting around ~15 years ago), even so i think recording and listening myself has helped much more than long practice sessions, good luck on your journey man!
