The Seekers were very popular here in NZ(as a young boy was taken to see their movie) and my parents were big fans regularly playing their 45s(including this 💎)was later given their LP Come the Day which had another Paul Simon/Bruce Woodley comp Red Rubber Ball which is one of my favorite Seekers songs thanks for the work done on the remix much appreciated Auckland New Zealand 2024

this record would have charted at the time maybe about 15 position but there was too much going on with other female singers at the time and not much room for air play at the time this would have been in the class as dusty lulu petula etc mmmmmmmmmmm pity i think joe was using glenda as a demo level and session singer perhaps she had the wrong management also who knows otherwise eh! ????????????

I wasn't crazy about this song in 1964 as I was just getting into FM/Underground music. But this mix brings out the brilliance of the vocals and instrumentation. You've given me a whole new appreciation for this one.
