And also some computer science fundamentals and Data structures and algorithms is also very important. Soft skills like communication and teamwork too will be beneficial to your growth.     I'm glad that your video was recommended to me..I am actually planning to learn programming for a career shift but I kinda doubt myself because of the negatives I see from people as well (difficulties learning the language, the market is saturated, difficulties finding a job for inexperience, jobs in tech replaceable by AI etc.) These reasons kinda holding me back, but I'm so tired working in the BPO already..       Hey Khumalo, I started my journey on March and I didn’t have any prior experience in tech. My friend who is in the tech industry connected me to the internship. My advice is make sure you have a good foundation in the language before applying for an internship and above all believe in yourself and your skills
