5:45 There was a Trafalgar Square Station built by the Baker Street & Waterloo Railway. It was built with two lifts and an escalator. The railway line picked up the nickname "Bakerloo" from people who didn't want to say four words for an underground railway. The northern part of the Bakerloo Line took over a branchline from the Metropolitan Railway, so used to have a branch to Watford and a second branch to Stanmore. In the 1970s the government paid for the Bakerloo Line to be split into two with the Stanmore branch getting a new tunnel from Baker Street to a point between Trafalgar Square Station and Strand Station. There is a modern extension built onto the side of the National Gallery and it is actually the place where they dug a hole to build the new Fleet Line platforms. By the time the Fleet Line was built the part of the line to Fleet Street was cancelled and the line was renamed the Jubilee Line (despite opening two years after the Jubilee and the word Jubilee not really helping people understand what the line does). The new interchange of Bakerloo, Jubilee and Northern Line was given a new name: Charring Cross. But that name was stolen from a District Line station (which was renamed Embankment). So the entire area had lots of name changes when the Jubilee Line opened and a lot of people were confused for a while. And later, some businessmen wanted a railway line to get built to the London Docklands. So they promised to pay a lot of money if the Jubilee Line platforms at Charring Cross station were abandoned and the line was diverted via Waterloo Station. (And the they disappeared after the government started the project and the public paid instead.) So now the ex Trafalgar Square platforms are only connected to the ex Strand platforms by a very very very long foot tunnel, and you are no longer allowed to use the two sets of escalators as a shortcut.

This run exists solely to prove how overpowered Matryorbshka is. I don't know why I never looked up Peglin speedruns before (maybe so I didn't feel so inadequate at such a simple game), but I love it, and you're absolutely incredible at this! As much as I know this is primarily luck, analyzing the seed, and just the scummy reloading we're all so familiar with, you can't fake skill like this!

After watching several different content creators you're the first one where I notice LT (bag) and RT (map) in the bottom left of the screen. My first guess I assume using a controller barely makes any difference at all compared to keyboard and mouse as the gameplay input is very simplistic? There is probably no advantage or disadvantage using a controller? Also nice run. Looks like Sapper Sack is almost a requirement to even get close to attempting to beat this run.
