Hi Alex. Thanks for putting this on your channel. I am interested in piping design where there are multiple pipes from multiple sources at varying temperatures and pressures. Do you have a video about that?

Hey mate, thanks for tuning in. I have worked on plenty of hydraulic models before, but I haven't made a video about it yet. I'm thinking it might be a good idea to make one. Just a heads up, Aspen Hydraulics is a bit different from the standard Hysys pipe segments.

Do you accept questions?? I've run the example and is not converging. On the Pipe Sizing Manager the message says: "BaseCase: Line Sizing Criteria Failed" I check carefully the inputs and criteria and still not working. Do you know whether I need to activate something or any clue what's failing?? Hope you can reply. Thanks

Hi mate, I am happy to assist as much as I can. I am not sure why your simulation might have failed if you had the same inputs. I would suggest to check the property package, for water you can use NBS steam or ASME steam. You can also check if you global units are the same as mine (i.e metric units)

@@AppliedEngineeringwithAl-gs9rd Hi, thank you for taking your time. I conducted the same exercise in other simulations, and it keeps failing, in some streams the pipe sizing works fine, but in some other cases I have the same message "BaseCase: Line Sizing Criteria Failed", would like to know why. Is there a way to email you the file so you can see for yourself and maybe find out what's wrong?? I would really appreciate your help.

Is there a way to send you out the simulation and maybe you can find out what's wrong. I would really appreciate your support.

Sure no worries, send the simulation file to alexmashego@gmail.com. Which version of hysys are you running?
