I think one of the cool things is the absence of the "Getting Started" package. All gacha games have some sort of starter pack with a lot of currency and you get immediately drowned by everything, shutting you off from ever feeling invested in the game itself, the challenge, and even the system. In Limbus Company, the "Starter Pack" is to be able to pull newer IDs and use them to fight the first levels, which not only doesn't extremely skew the odds in your favour, but lets you learn at a normal, slightly above average maybe, way.

I'll make a secondary welcome. Congratulations for being a part of the PM brainrot, 까리자머. (I tried to write Manager in Korean 😭 I think I misspelled it) You should try out other PM's games Lobotomy Corporation and Library of Ruina if you're liking Limbus (ps: the lore and the Mili will hit greatly later on..) to provide more insight on the story World building, gameplay (especially because it's the most generous Gacha game I've probably played) = awesome, so you should definitely play them 😭 Limbus company is rhe successor to both of them, Lobotomy Corporation is basically a very very grindy SCP management game and Library of Ruina is a direct sequel, being a card game

Tip for every limbus fight you have trouble with: read. If you don’t read you don’t win especially later on in the game. Tho the amount of reading and distorting and memorizing has greatly decreased since the prequels and you could brute force most fights (in the prequels you can’t even do 1 damage without reading and understanding and innovating. There is also one boss in LoR that if you don’t read and come with the wrong stuff you can’t do any damage to him at all)

Great to hear you enjoyed Limbus Company, welcome to the bus, Manager. This game is the friendliest gacha where they give you Lunacy (currency) every week, by just completing a new stage, uptying character and do mirror dungeon. You can get all the Identities & E.G.Os if you grind mirror dungeon diligent enough. the only FOMO is for Walpurgisnacht event but you can still acquire it after three months. The battle pass is cheap for something that last for 2-3 months and that makes this game an easy instant favorite. You can try the dev's other two games if you like more challenge but Limbus is enough as stand-alone game. Hope you enjoy more stories to come because you're in for awesome-quality story writing.

Welcome to Bimbus company where the main stay is the story. You should also try out other Project Moon games. Though I should say limbus is a sequel to Library of Ruina which is preceded by Lobotomy corp. I will say that Limbus for now has barely spoiled much of Ruina’s story. The series has amazing world building, characters, and themes

Welcome to the Project Moon fandom. Limbus Company is definitely the most newbie-friendly entry out of their 3 games which are set in the same universe, but I also highly recommend their other 2 games, Library of Ruina (its gameplay is the closest to Limbus' but with more complexity) and Lobotomy Corporation (which is a hard and also quite grindy SCP management sim), all of their games have some of the best writing and soundtracks I've experienced in video games. As for your current progress in Limbus, the story will get a lot better very soon (or perhaps you already experienced THAT moment in the chapter dungeon as of the time I write this comment), so look forward to that.
