What you said about making a whole world based on an idea is the reason I love Kurt's art, his paintings were different to each other, but they seemed like they belong to the same universe, as well as his music. I really think that all the art he did were connected, maybe unintentionally, but I feel like all of them got the same aura and feelings around them, and that's amazingly insane.

They teach Beowulf in British schools which is really interesting because it is written in a language so similar yet so different to our own. Grendel's mother is an icon and didn't deserve to die though.

For 1984 I think it would have been a lot better as a novella, it's themes would have been more impactful. It reads like a first draft and I think that is closer to the truth than I'd like considering Orwell died half a year after its publication and he was really going through it. So I try to give him some leeway.... Catcher though, yeah. I understand why it's a classic but not for me at all.

As someone who has a a disable mother and sister, is always interesting listening to the other perspective. I remember when I read this book I felt really guilty and made me not want to do the same thing that Gregor's family did to him. Thanks for opening the wound again (kidding, I'm sorry) <3

Lovely video! I think that self diagnosis and using therapy terms can be incredibly harmful and so I always preach about leaving room for whimsy (the best term ever). I wish that people didn't have to be depressed but could just be sad and have support. In essence I just believe in more unstructured support and maybe then we might not have to say we have autism to get attention.
