nice vidz, can't wait to see them in July !
Guys, this is awesome, doesn´t feel a bit weird on the cleans at all. Clever step, cannot wait to see you live in Czechia one day. Wow!
Crazy to think I saw Darran's "farewell" show with them about 11 years ago and here he is back with the boys
Whos the new bassist since SK died
I was there, this was a special moment
we miss u guys. its so good to see you back
I remember the video clip with this song, epic!
If you're a guitarist, you know how difficult it is to play the lead guitar in this song.... cheers👏
only tapping is hard
Dawson is a master. That tapping on Black Flame is awesome.
Always love a bit of FFAF, catchy as fuck
love this song
Goosebumps.
fuckin'rockin !
oh how i wish concerts like this would be possible again in Germany as well 🖤
It was a hard task to do Jason parts but this guy did great. I didn't know what to expect tbh, I'm not disappoint at all. It's different ofc bc Jason has a unique voice but he did a good job.
Terrible vocals tbh
what’s the original bassist up to now? the one who played on casually dressed and hours
Moved to Las Vegas and works for Apple. He's on LinkedIn looking geeky 😂
@@IainFrame lool
This is incredible
Jason's distinctive voice is a massive loss. Good luck to the band and good luck to Jason in whatever he does next. Why did he leave? I know how brutal the music industry is and how difficult it is to actually make a living and pay the bills, so it wouldn't surprise me if it was simply that.
Yeah he does have distinctive sound to his voice for sure but to be fair the guy singing them now did a great job and the clean sections live are sung over by the crowd so it's not too jarring it not being Jason. I think it'll be even more interesting to see how their next recorded stuff sounds.
Per the statement issued by the band, it seems Jason wasn’t too fond of the direction their music was heading.
@@skylarshadows6661 The press statement said they had been on "different paths" for some time but a) that doesn't necessarily mean musical direction, and b) press statements rarely reflect reality. I hope we see him doing something again.
@@IainFrame Supposedly he wanted to commit harder than the others. The other members have commitments in the UK like work and families, so they can't commit as much as he wanted.
@@IainFrame Of course, it's a pity that Jason left the band, I like him very much too, he is equally good as a guitarist and as a vocalist. But this is a very clever decision for the band to take two new members at once, separately a guitarist, and separately a vocalist, who also took over the functions of keyboardist/sampler. This can have a very positive effect on the further material of the band, as two more creative minds appeared in the band. Jason was limited as a live guitarist due to the fact that he also sang, and his guitar parts were written for combination with vocals. Ed is not limited by anything, and can make up a wonderful guitar duet with Kristan, and the two of them can greatly saturate and diversify the guitar parts in further material.
Darran
Sound was pretty poor at the Slamdunk South stage for Deez nuts, sounds a bit off with the vocals on this also?
Agreed this was what they came out to and you'll notice you can barely hear the lyrics at the start. It picks up later but still not super loud
Who is the drummer?
Not sure, it seems he comes from Brooklyn as they made reference to his accent but no idea who he is.
BURNOUT 3
Outstanding band, so glad to see them back. Their tunes off Casually dressed album bring such nostalgia. Such a sick band and this was always on of their best songs. Great capture, thank you so much for posting this!
Yeah same, I saw them twice back in the day as wasn't expecting too much as I'm not as familiar with their later albums but they killed it with this set, which was only stuff off the first 3 albums (unless I'm mistaken)
@@rockovids9945 I saw them in 2006 at Taste of Chaos tour with Deftones and Atreyu. They were amazing, played a lot of really heavy numbers. This is when Matthew Davies had some really incredible pipes for vocals. They killed it. You are very lucky to have seen this set at Slam Dunk fest, looks like Ryan their old drummer is back.
Wow they sound so good still have yet to catch them on a reunion show but they haven’t bloody lost there ability ❤️
They really haven't they were awesome and somewhat to my surprise drew a massive crowd too, very tempted to grab a ticket to one of their new shows
New rhythm guitarist and new vocalist in the back? Anyone know their names?
It's just touring members so far. Tom Prendergast and Ed Hartwell.
Ed Hartwell used to play guitar in a band called Heart In Hand
@@rotaway892 Heart In Hand! What a fucking band! ❤️
@@rotaway892 oh my lord
Thank you for recording this! Any Blood youth videos?
Sadly not, I did watch them and took some pics but their set was fairly brief and while I enjoyed it, it was over before I realised
