I made it to Horseshoe Curve on a Sunday afternoon. Arrived right at closing. I really wanted to be able to go up the hill to the track. I videoed a few trains from the road below the curve. A guy with a pickup had train horns mounted on the back of the truck. That is where the train horns are coming from.

476 looks amazing with the diamond smokestack and old style headlamp by far my most favorite locomotive of all time on the Durango and Silverton narrow gauge Railroad because I have a painting of 476 sketched crossing the animus river before Silverton with Cascade Canyon in the background and I also have a metal Desktop model of 476 and truly sound amazing to hear her wear a five chime whistle quite a contrast to her Colorado & Southern lukenheimer 3 chime whistle that metal desktop model wrist on a spike that came off a narrow gauge Railroad north of Silverton that a friend of mine gave

Well that headlight and smoke stack looks pretty cool I'm wondering if they had the same opinion and chose to leave it like that or they don't have time to change it the roundhouse machninces are vary busy but that 5 chime whistle sounds pretty close to the whistle on our 1932 440 Edison locomotive at Greenfield village
Why is there a cage around the horn?
They go to the trouble of restoring a steam locomotive and making it operational again, and then they put a couple of diesel locomotives between the carriages and this locomotive. Yeah, great! So why did they go to all this trouble in the first place?
Got to meet one of these pilots here i got a bunch if stickers from then really nice guys this airshow was awesome best one ive been to so far
