You know what I did with my sliders?I lifted it up just a little bit so that they're off the ground
Yes, I have the blade just over an inch and a quarter off the ground. Still get lots of rocks. Thanks for the tip.
Not a very enjoyable video. Too much drama for a good video. Better luck next time. But you enjoyed the time blowing snow.
Sorry you didn't enjoy it. There are many more days of snow so maybe next time.
I tilt my blower towards the tractor with the top link ,that way it glides more on the back of the blower and keeps the gravel there .Great video
Thanks. Yeah I usually adjust it after the first use. I will try tilting it back a bit see it it helps. I am planning on adding a pipe to the cutting edge just never got around to doing it.
@DoingThingsandStuff1 i usualy tilt it till it rides on the back of the snowblowet ,that way it leave some snow foe a good base
Thanks I'll give that a try.
Fluffy rain.
wow.. you make the engine running way too fast at the beginning but the second part you placed the throttle lower.
The motor is under powered for this machine. I do intend to replace it with a bigger one eventually.
Good job! Hellow from Estonia! 👌🇪🇪
Thanks, I need to learn Estonian so I understand when Ants Pants starts yelling at stuff.
@DoingThingsandStuff1 😂right!
Time to get the blower running, or is the ground to soft yet ? You have gotten more than us over here so far.
I'm heading out for day 2 of snow blowing in about an hour. But were supposed to be getting another 20cm today so I might not do it all and wait for the snow to stop tonight.
Hi, model?
I'm not sure of the model number it is the 500mm version. The link is in most of the mower video descriptions.
And what exactly is the x-ray equipment doing in your garage ? :D
Would you believe I found it on the side of the road?
@@DoingThingsandStuff1 Absolutely ! :D There is a lot of stuff getting left behind at the road, or that falls of trucks. Strange things.
Its old stuff I have to take apart for scrap. I repair and install x-ray machines for work.
@@DoingThingsandStuff1 Okay :D Makes a bit more sense ;) I saw the cardboard boxes as well with "medical" on it, so I assumed it would be something like that ! Also explains the amount of lead etc you melted ;) Edit: M;aybe you havent melted lead, aluminium and copper ? My memory isnt the best :P Edit2: You have melted everything ! :D Had to go back and check.
Yes I melted all 3. Just haven't made many videos about it.
So, 9 months later, what’s your opinion of these mowers. Are they worth it? Any advice for someone thinking about buying one?
I like the mower. I would say it is not designed for large areas. It is very slow. The motors heat up so if you go to long you will burn them out. An hour brake every hour of use. The fans to cool the motors work very good limiting the down time. It will cut branches up to an inch small trees etc. I have heard the 48v version motors don't heat up as much but I can not confirm that. I would say for a fun toy yes go for it. As your main mower no. I was always planning on getting a 48'' mower for the tractor.
Hi there Good job have good day and happy day be safe. See you next time. 🐕🐶🇺🇸👍
Thanks, you too!
This one at least worked !
Yes it did, I got fed up and just ordered the replacement screen 10 days after submitting the ticket. Fixed the issue and took another few days to send proof of the screen not working and got the refund. Now they both work.
Was thinking maybe you can just pull them out and never trim again 😆 but , good job man - looking to buy this same setup
Thanks. It works great. I have done an actual god job in another location, not messing around and it preformed excellent. The chainsaw attachment is also very useful on the same power head.
Man has one technical issue and makes a 42 min video on how it doesn't work and how the whole printer sucks lol. I thought I'd come to this video and find a well constructed analysis of issues with the X1C.
Just FYI: You misspelled 'does' in your video title.
Thanks, I'm bad at spelling.
Throwing useful stuff from window is not cool
It won’t bring you more views
It was not useful anymore
That printer is such a waste of extra money when the P1 S exist and you can control it with your smart phone or PC, the X1C is pointless you can even buy another aftermarket screen for the P1S or P1P if the screen is your main issue which it should be, because the the two biggest improvements of the X1C is the camera and the screen other than that all the rest of the upgrades aren't worth it, how are you submitting the ticket on APC or are you using the bamboo handy app
I was able to submit a general sales ticket after much frustration. I did it on there website. They said they would reply in 48 hours but I'm guessing it dose not include weekends.

What foot pedal did you order? As the splitter does not come with a oedal anymore. Do you have a link?

How much did you pay for the delivery from China to Canada ?
It was about $5000 once I picked it up.
It arrived a week ago here already. Winter is coming, what a surprise this year as well.
Wow, no snow here yet but it feels like it's going to be a long winter this year.
Lets call it a twig chipper
that is a pretty pathetic machine. Very loud and very difficult to feed.
Yes, not ideal for large branches but usually anything larger then 1 inch I burn.
On my grandfathers homestead he burned softwood for his entire life. Just have to dry it longer than hardwood that’s all.
Exactly, its more about the moisture content then the type of wood.
The manual for the radio controller tells you how to adjust the bias for left/right control.
It didn't come with a manual.
@@DoingThingsandStuff1 I know, neither did mine. I searched Google for the manual for my controller, Microzone C7-Mini. It's just a generic radio controller used for model airplanes, boats, helicopters, etc... The toggle switch on the end top left is for fast/slow. Toggle switch on the end top right is position hold- like a cruise control. Toggle switch on the top left is for raising/lowering the mower, top right is for blade control. The black slider switches are fine trim controls- these are what you'd adjust if the mower is tracking to one side or the other. The manuals are found at microzone's website. Google microzone and the model number of your controller.
Thanks for the information. I knew it was a generic remote I just never took the time to search for the manual. Maybe I'll try to adjust the tracking one day.
It this one of the 2 speed models?
Yes it has 2 speeds.
Hola, el fusible que instalaste de cuantos Amperios es?
5 amps. The fans only take 1 amp each.
Look into the harbor freight atv/motorcycle lift. Might be a good option to work under the machine.
Thanks for the suggestion. We don't have Harbor Freight in Canada. I believe Princess Auto is the Canadian version. Are you talking like the lift Mustie1 uses? Usually I drive it up some car ramps but I was to lazy to go get them.
@@DoingThingsandStuff1 go to the Canadian tire site and type in motorcycle lift. It’s the on that kinda looks like a pallet jack.
I don't think that would work. The deck is floating you can't lift it from there. You have to lift it from the tracks and they are too far apart for that type of lift. Good thought tho.
No salen los subtitulos, 😢pero creo entender que un éxito los ventiladores...de 78° centigrados bajarlos hasta los 48°. más o menos creo... me parece perfecto...😊 Una vez más gracias por el video...
Your welcome. Yes before it was around 80 to 90 Celsius now it stays under 50 Celsius . I looked into the subtitles and I would have to write a complete transcript in English to translate it to other languages. It dose not work with the auto generated ones but I just don't have the time. I barely have time to edit them sorry.
@@DoingThingsandStuff1 no te preocupes bastante haces con grabar los vídeos.
You always check the oil before using. Most of the time, it ships without oil. Hence, always check it.
I do check the oil before each use on all my equipment. It came over filled with oil when I got it.
@DoingThingsandStuff1 Sorry, I didn't mean it as you needed to check the oil. I was throwing that out there for others. I have seen video's where people will get w new motor and run ot and blow it up because they didn't check to make sure it had oil on it.
No problem. I agree. Even if they say it has oil or is good to go. Always a good idea to check oil, air filter, nuts and bolts, do a once over before firing it up. The operator is responsible for there machines.
@DoingThingsandStuff1 couldn't agree more. I had an accident that I had bought a brand new generator and after checking it over filling it with oil and running it off and on for a couple of days, I noticed when I went to change to break in oil that a bolt was laying under it. I never did find where it went. I'm hoping it was just an extra bolt, but later on, after running it for 87 hours It got hard to pull to start and just about broke my hand. I ended up sending it back to the manufacturer, and they were supposed to send a new replacement. After receiving the replacement, you could tell it was used, but it worked, so I didn't care.

The proximity you drive that to your feet makes me a little uncomfortable. One slip of the finger... a spring or a pushrod comes loose... The machine might be a touch underpowered vs tall grass, but vs toes I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.
You're not the first to express concern for my toes. I do drive too close but I also have steel toe shoes on most of the time. I appreciate it.
Good!
Thanks!
Is that a Vigorun machine?
No it is not. The link is in most of the mowing videos.
Kids toy.
Have you had an issue where it won't turn left or go straight forward? I can turn right and backup straight. When I tell it to go left it goes in reverse and when I tell it to go straight forward it goes to the right.
Yes, sometimes it happens when I turn the remote on before the mower. I usually just turn off the remote and mower and turn it back on in the right sequence to reset it.
@@DoingThingsandStuff1 thanks for the reply. I just tried that but no change. So odd, I've been racking my brain for days on it
Did you try pulling the batteries from the remote and switching the main breaker for the machine off for a few minutes?
@@DoingThingsandStuff1 yeah I've had it off for 24hrs. Both remote and mower.
Try asking another channel its homesteading uncontained They have the same mower. They might know. They also have a lot more viewers so someone there might be able to help.
Hope you keep doing what you do! This was very comfortable to watch actually. I love the sled-solution as well, makes me want to go out there and get me some nice big rocks

Thanks for the video, great tutorial! 👌 I recommend taking into account the density and height of the grass. As you can see in the video, the grass is neither dense nor long, about 20 cm. For this, this is the maximum rpm for the petrol engine, more than a lot. You could save the petrol engine, I think it could mow this grass at 2/3 rpm. One more suggestion, if you use the machine at high rpm and after an hour you hear the engine stalling, don't run out of fuel. Put it on low revs, run it at low revs for 1 minute, cool the engine down. I have been using a similar type for four years, no problems, works great.
Thanks, The problem with it at lower rpm is the alternator will stall the engine if there is a bit of an incline or thicker grass. I am cutting it quite low and you can hear the engine struggle near the hill in front of the shed. I believe a better battery would help and I am looking into getting a higher capacity deep cycle battery. The problem with not letting it run out of fuel is I am usually far enough away that when it starts to run low it runs out before I get to it, and I don't pay enough attention as I should. I plan on swapping the engine for a Kohler, If I do I will take better care or the fuel situation. I appreciate the information.
Do you have the 7hp or the 16hp?
I believe it has 14 horse powers
@@DoingThingsandStuff1 If the petrol engine is 196-224 ccm then 7.5 HP is the engine power. The cutting width is 55cm. Machines with a larger cutting deck, such as 80 cm, have a petrol engine of more than 13 HP.
I looked up the spec sheet for this engine and it is about 7hp 50cm cutting deck
@@DoingThingsandStuff1 thank you for the reply
