you did in fact fix your form in squats. congratulations. Hope things go better at this meet.
Keep at it, but slow down, and work on your form. Your lifts will go up and be more consistent if you work on your form and focus on it.

Try Strongman they aren't as boring, require way skill and effort and people support and cheer for you.
You did ok Kid!!, you were pressing more then your body weight, it was your first meet and it is a learning process, and if you feel stressed and overwhelmed then you are not going to perform at your best, don't despair and don't give up, keep moving forward, well done, you should be proud of yourself, KEEP AT IT!!!

You need a proper coach, and he needs to fix your form as soon as possible. This is a recipe for an injury.
Some powerlifters make the glutes stay on the bench while doing bench press
Its just gym lifts, not a comp
@nissanpatrol420 with that logic then one could train pecs by doing dips instead of bench press and then one would enter a powerlifting competition or call himself a powerlifter... Muscle memory plays a role when doing bench press... There is a reason why glutes should be on the bench while on competition, but, whatever... People can do whatever is the best I guess

This is impressive dude, but just a question from a complete beginner : why do your knees cave-in on your squats during the competition? I looked at the prep videos you provided too but it wasn't clear whether they caved in or not because you took the video from the side. I am really asking this question just out of curiosity because I was taught (recently I just got started with the gym) that I need to push my knees out when getting out of the hole in the squat. So is it a personal tweaking of the form that you chose to do to adapt to your bone structure or is it something else? Hope to see you progress more and more in future competitions and videos.

Great videos, don't worry about the views just keep uploading, every 10 uploads try a different style and editing and you'll make the views as well. Btw I'm in no place to critique your form but with squats you could try focusing on keeping knees and back parallel throughout the full range of motion to avoid injuries. Also it's not pleasant when the weight pressures your neck. But hey, your coach knows better.

Way to go! I just had my first comp last week and it went very similarly to yours where I didn't get the result I would have wanted. I had also messed up on my squats and just did my best to get through the rest. It becomes a mental game at that point. You still pulled amazing numbers! It's a learning experience and you still did amazing! You should be so proud of yourself and I wish you the best for all your future competitions! Keep it up <3

First meet good numbers, the first year of meets is just about dealing with cutting, controlling stress and setting realistic numbers!
Good job. I hope you review your video so you can clean up the things that didn’t go exactly how you wanted it. On you final bench, you changed your touch point and really flared your elbows. On your 2nd & 3rd deadlift attempt, your form breaks down as soon as you start your pull. It may help to tighten/flex your lats to help you maintain the correct posture. Still, it was a great first meet and good learning experience
