Stitched up this cute ghost kitty on my daughter’s jumper! I used 3 strands of floss for the entire design and a size 5 DMC embroidery needle. This design is from the Ghost Kitty Stick and Stitch pack available in my Etsy shop!

Part 10 - Hoop Backing This is my favorite way to back a hoop! I used all 6 strands of floss. I prefer to back my hoops with felt, but fabric works well with this method as well. Checkout the kit with everything you need for this project in my Etsy shop! Or the digital download here:

Hey i have question please reply if i use automatic embroidery machines in embroidering t shirts etc can i embroid without using a backing material in my opinion its so uncomfortable? Whats your thoughts
@@Wishalslayghosts I don’t have any experience with machine embroidery, all my designs and patterns are hand embroidered. I do back my embroidered clothing sometimes and I like to use Sulky tender touch. It is an iron stabilizer that covers stitches and feels soft.

What is the paper called on which u traced the cat
It's a water soluble stabilizer. I sell these designs in my Etsy shop and the blank sheets too!

im just loving your content! :) I have a question (as a beginner in all this) Would it be wrong to stitch the full cap with the satin stitch, then come back and put in the little green stems? I wondered if it was just preference, or if there was a reason to go around the little green vine. :) Thanks!
Thank you so much! This is more of a personal preference! Sometimes I satin stitch first, then go back and add the details. It also depends on the texture that I want for my project. I recommend that you try different methods to see which you prefer! I love that hand embroidery can be flexible and stitched up in different ways to get different looks!☺

How many strands do you use?
The pattern specifies how many strands for each part of the design. Most of the pattern is 6 strands, but a few parts have less.
