Hello which shock did you put on the standard or the lowering shock? I ask as I am getting a CRF300LS too tomorrow and weigh about 220 so I will need to do the same upgrade for sure.

Nice upgrade. Just did it myself, but went with Rally Raid. Hope you pushed out the 3 sleeves from the suspension link and greased up the bearings. Same with the sleeve behind the dog bones. Its just a tiny amount of grease from factory on those bearings.

I had the same idea but I bolted the hoist to the bottom and back of the storage box. Then I installed a 12V electric winch with remote. This works like dream and because the hoist is permanently mounted, there’s no need to remove and store the hoist. Also because it’s attached to the box it swings out with the door so it doesn’t block opening the door. Finally I keep the cable attached to the bike while it’s on the rack so it provides extra supports while traveling and unloading the bike is super easy.

The AC unit has an app you can use to control it with your phone just like the awning does too, that’s how I do it while driving to keep thing comfortable for my Lab in the revel. Also have you looked into an easy start for your AC so when it starts the compressor it steps the voltage and only uses what it needs instead of a capacitor that throw a huge power surge at it.

Well I’m so happy for you. I’m still trying to convince my wonderful wife to get interested in the van as yours. We’ve had a few different vehicles through the years for camping but the options are getting better every year. It’s an array of satellites I’ve seen as many as 60 in a string pattern flying over our homestead in SE AZ. We have the star link just haven’t got around to setting it up at our barn on the other side of our property.

As of mid 2023 there's a MB recall for this now. It entails swapping the wires within the pairs of the black and white connector. It takes all of 10 minutes to do using a small pick.

So to answer your issue with cruise control, I've confirmed with Winnebago themselves as well as the technicians at Lichstinn RV that the Cruise control can "turn itself off" if it sees something it doesn't like. It'll re-enable itself once conditions improve. Basically it can get "spooked" and if it does, it goes onto a cooldown period. It happens with ALL revels not just yours. It's not something you'll be able to fix or change either. It's just how the system as a whole works. It was irritating for me at first but it is what it is.

I don't see how that's "perfect;" it's pressed against your AC shell, and the shell bulges when you open the box. The shell pops open pretty quickly. My AC Fan connector rusted off after less than a year of usage from the plastic being bulged as it allowed water inside. This install worries me. I would not want that thing flying off my van at 70 miles an hour.

Yes. It’s probably the light bar. You can put a light bar cover to stop the noise.

Would have been nice if you talked about the suspension at all, the video is so long and I tried to skim through and never heard you speak on what the suspension felt like after install.

Just an idea, and maybe you already purchased one. But a magnetic ceiling fan cover eliminates a lot of noise. And I know someone (me) that drove into town wondering where this wind noise was coming from. Then it hit me that I had put the window next to the bench seat in the second position to allow air flow with ceiling fan going and forgot to close it all the ways.

I mounted the same box about a year ago. I mounted 2 pieces of aluminum L stock on each end of the box and lifted it onto the roof rack rails and away from the roof a bit. I also moved it out away from the A/C some to help the A/C vent. I kept the top of the box just below the A/C as to not add any height to the rig.
