prime michael owen was so good
มุมมอง 33K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
Highlights of Michael Owen during his Ballon d'Or winning season in 2000-2001 for Liverpool & England - he was simply unstoppable during his prime, a deadly finisher and insane pace put fear into the best defenders in the world. Where does PRIME Michael Owen rank amongst the great strikers of the past? Music: Philip Guyler - Get Gangsta Symphony Get over 1M mainstream tracks here: go.lickd.co/M...
My french friend used to ban using Owen on the earlier PES games, because it was unfair.
I thought this was going to be him smashing point blank volleys past a 13 year old
Owen between 1997-2001 was one of my favourite players. Until he scored the two goals against us in the 2001 F. A Cup final anyway.
Jesus, he gave poor Albaina an awful time!
Big game player
the first time I saw him was at WC 98. his goal against Argentina is still one of the best I ever seen
While I love Owen, I find it amazing that he never reached 20 league goals in a season, nor 30 goals in a season overall.
That's probably got more to do with the standard of players around him. Heskey..? In a better Liverpool side, he'd score way more.
Really? The Michael Owen that won the Balon D’or and bought by Real Madrid was good? No follin’? You sir. Are artificial intelligence
Over rated
Hasn’t been a striker like him. In his prime he was as good as anyone at that time. I remember going away to work in Egypt and all the locals there because I was English were calling me Micheal Owen 😂 because that’s what they related England with back in 2001. That’s how big he was on the world stage. I’m A Newcastle fan as well
I would try Amad as a striker. I think him and Rasmus would be deadly.
He Same Matic ⚽⚽
3mns 2secs = wow. Le Tissier's world class finish reminded me of Steven Gerrards v Marseille 2007 Chmpns League group game
And because he's an Englishman younger that 80 years old he won, internationally, absolutely nothing, zero, zilch, bugger all. Might as well not have bothered pulling on a white shirt.
Next Toni Kroos
Football is easy ❤😮
Okay, but second goal is obviously a mishit cross.
And these aren’t even his best clips
ALways was a joy to watch! World Class
One of the most lethal striker of modern football. The scorer and the personality are both missing ❤️🔥
Paul his the best mid field player ever too put a England shirt on !!! ..absolutely fantastic player 😊😊..
I grew up wanting to play football like Ronaldinho and Owen that says a lot
He is so nifty 🥶
Never seen any one like him after that.
I never bore of watching him score goals. Great player
Imo owen was the closest to R9 englands produced
He should ha e became a pro boxer with all the beatings he gave his wife
You know you're in for a treat when you're only halfway through the video and the goals are already spectacular.
Could have been the best English player ever ~ ~ ~ If Man Utd had signed Paul Gascoigne ~ ~ Then, I suggest that Alex Ferguson may have stopped a lot of the things that went wrong with Paul Gascoigne ~ ~ Alex Ferguson just wouldn't let such talent go to waste for all kinds of reasons ~ ~ What a shame, and I say this as an Irishman.
What a player. I was lucky enough to be at most of these games seeing him creating magic live.
Balotelli was one of the perfect striker ever come to field but his management was horrible
It’s so easy to forget just how brilliant a footballer he was. I can only imagine how well he would do now against current leaky premiership defences!
As a Man Utd & England fan it breaks my heart still that Gazza did not join Alex Feguson in 1988 at Man Utd. I'm convinced that Fergie and Man Utd would have looked after him and stopped him getting into all the bother he ended up getting into and all the problems and injuries.
Forgotten wonderkid💔
Of course the likes of scholes, Gerrard and lampard had long successful careers but when it comes down to footballing talent no one could touch Gazza
Those who called the George Graham Arsenal side boring forgot about Merse
Matt Le Tissier goals but they get increasingly more insane.... unfortunately so did he
One of the best. Underrated, sadly.
I think the deliberate assault by Jan Wouters , which broke his cheekbone was one injury too many.. too long out of the game ,getting stir crazy ? what a player though !
Brilliant complication thanks for the effort to put this together , absolutely superb
Oh lads, if it wasn't for that damned injury in '91 he would have set the world on fire and gone on to 75-80 England caps easily.
He was electric in 01
And yet our vile scum press tried to destroy him why?
Did you intentionally seek out the lowest quality shit standard video's you could find, it's as if he played in the 1930s.
Have a good day, Peter
He's able to influence the game from the middle of the park against the best... world cups Euros champions league seria a...we just don't produce enough players like that....i think Bellingham is on his level talent wise... except Jude's got his head screwd on 😂
You must be drunk as Bellingham isn't fit to lace Gazza's boots. Gazza was a genius and we haven't seen a player like him in the Premier League since. Gazza destroyed teams, waltzed passed 5 to 6 players and broke the net. His brain was lightening quick in tight spaces. He left countless players on their behinds and if he played for Man Utd he would have won everything.
Great player, highly skilled with a flair and imagination that left other greats in his wake. There were only two things he couldn't do, 1) tackle - many of his tackles left either him or his opponent injured, 2) stay off the drink and drugs - injury didn't help with this.
Agree with sir Alex
Do we dare forget this person's unreal ability......Rooney grealish foden all amazing but gazza was a one off
How many English players are this two footed. Master.
9:03 RIGHT THERE! 1 Time left foot pass that requires great vision from a RIGHT FOOTED Center Mid. Teach your sons this. 2footedness.
