The strike force consisted of Green Section (Canberras), Red, White and Blue Sections (Hawker Hunter fighter jets) and a number of K-Car (Allouette helicopter) gun-ships.

That raid killed innocent unarmed women and children and Green Leader lost his life too. The war was lost the moment Zpra commander instructed the downing of the viscount aircraft that the Rhodesian army was using to transport military leaders.
You are miss informed nkomo and smith were in talks as early as 1974 but mugabe was not happy the uk with its MI6 AGENTS CAUSED THE DOWINING of the viscount.over zipra liberated areas.
