I have the exact same bike, same colors, still in great shape, didn't pound on it. Rode it like a normal bike, light trail use. Bought it used for $900 in 2000 when the last new one they had was going for $2000. Great bike, my friend had a silver one. Way lighter than my original Trek chrome moly steel bike of the early 90s. Just got an ebike this summer so giving it a rest.

That is one cool ass bike. I built a 2000 rocket 88 in 2000 at the bike shop when I worked there, it was a $4500 bike at the time, and had the hayes hydraulic brakes front, and rear, a rock shox sid front fork, and rear shock, and full xtr group set, the bike was stupid light like 24 lbs I think

please what is the source on that front shock setup?, nevermind i found it, i had never seen this setup, and i'm trying to add suspension to a e-trike and think this type could be an answer, BIKE LOOKS AMAZING, how's the ride?

Hello. I bought one of these used. Exact same color. Was wondering if your right lower chainstay arm looks uneven? Mine looks bent, but not sure if that's a design or if it's bent. Don't notice any cracks. Thanks!

I loved those. I test drove one once and it was a great climber.

I found one, this poor thing sat in the attic of my local pawn shop, I asked the owner if they had any bikes, he had one nobody wanted. I didn't know why, other than the front shocks are blown and they can be a bear to find compatible replacement. I aired up the tubes from that shop and rode it to work for about a week before putting an E-Bike hub on it. I'm genuinely interested in seeing what you know, in terms of compatible parts, are available for this bike, my current hurdle is finding a replacement for the original polymer "rear shock absorber"
