Special thanks to Tony Langdon for extra overhead and drone footage! On February 10th, 2019, the long-awaited second sailing video took place at Lake Neangar, Victoria. Nigel's 1:100 scale USS Missouri, and the general history behind the model, is showcased in detail, generating the expected fanfare from onlookers. Less fortunate was our drone for aerial footage which ended up losing control ov...

I just came back from Pearl Harbor and I took tour of the USS Missouri and it was amazing. Your model is wonderful to see, good job on your video.
Amazing....Amazing...Amazing!!! 😊
Beautiful models, exquisitely crafted with such attention to detail and quality. Beautifully presented and furnished, i am in awe of the dedication it takes to create beauty like this. Congratulations on your achievements and talents. Thank you also for the history lesson regarding the vessels of your collection. Regards Kel C.
👍👍👍👏👏👏
When is she going to sail?

I saw this today at a maritime museum in port Albert, ITS AMAZING!
Inncorrect about the Hood their mate. It was the lack deck armour, was thinned to cruiser thickness for increased speed. The larger shells of the Bismarck penetrated the deck armour and exploded the forward magazine. Hood didn’t sink cause of lack of speed nor was it rudder size.
Is it for sell by Any chance?
Hi, this is the Port Albert Maritime Museum. We are honored to be able to announce that some of Nigel's collection will be on display at our museum from around end April this year. We're just in the process of getting the display organised, which has taken a bit longer than expected due to the vagarities of COVID. We will have the Queen Mary 1 & 2, Missouri, Oriana and Normandie, in addition to some of his smaller models. Once we have a firm date for the opening we will start promoting via social media and certainly will send invitations to the different model yacht clubs. We hope to see you here to see Nigel's amazing ships in person.
its amazing what we do for our ships/planes and cars on how we transport them them and how we store them. Your like me I take alot of care for them and like you Im sure your proud of your work! Glad to have found you channel and gave you a sub and like and thank you my friend!!
When I was in the Navy back in 86 to 92 my USS HAYLER DD 997 was doing battle ex with the USS Iowa when they put it back in to commission before it had that fatal explosion when firing its 16 inch guns and watching the guns fire was most impressive. the ship would actually move to the left or right when it fired all the guns at once and the drift from the push of power of the guns is something you should see. These ships are the so impressive in person to see I wish I had a camcorder when this was going on. but my memory is there forever. they are very powerful ships!!
I finally found a 1/200 scale model and got one coming and that is just outstanding my friend. OMG I thought mine was huge but that is a incredible piece of art you have. Thank you very much for sharing this!! I gave you a sub and very big like and thank you again for showing this!!
Amazing!!!
the best....!!!👏👏👏👏
I am tge 1k subscriber!💐🎉💐🎊
Beautiful!! What's happened to you country...looks fascist...unbelievable
Incredible
Wonderful model! Beautiful work. At 41:55... If you allow me to give you my opinion, the speed is not to scale. Your ship is going a lot faster than 30/32 kt (55.56/59.264 kph). If you convert 30 kt to 1:100 cm scale, you will have to sail ten meters in 1.08 min (0.56 kph in 1:1 cm scale). 55,560 m ---- 60 min 1,000 m ---- X min X = (1,000 x 60) : 55,560 => X = 1.07991361 min One thousand meters in 1:100 cm scale tranlates to ten meters, so the model should sail ten meters in 1.08 min. Time will not vary as you know. I guarantee you that she sails a lot more meters in that ammount of time. Greetings from Brazil.
Bonjours Monsieur , très très belle collection et réalisation de navire moderne , merci à vous pour cette vidéo . Regards Sir .
How you determine the height of the floors? Please tell me the height of the each floor at this scale.

Only one type of house in Australia. That brick!! Different colours... but same brick everywhere. Very boring.
Wow
What an absolutely stunning collection of magnificent ships. Incredible detail. Just wonderful! And what an awesome privilege it must have been as a youngster (and I assume that your parents were Dutch, please correct me if I am mistaken) to have been visiting on those ships and sitting at the Captain's table so many times. No wonder that you love those era of ships so intensely. As a Dutch boy growing up in that era as well I had a three page poster of Willem Ruys on my bedroom door. I also have a magnificent collection of model ships but not to the scale that you have. So I am in total awe of your work. Instant subscriber. Cheers from the Train Lord in Adelaide South Australia.
