Wait…. I just realized. Sonic X Shadow is just Sonic Generations but from Shadows perspective, right? And Sonic Generations takes place after the events of Sonic Colors…. First of all, how come we’ve NEVER seen Shadow use his new discovered abilities later on? I know realistically SEGA didn’t think that far ahead or AT ALL when it came to that, but in-universe, why haven’t seen it? Was he just that good at hiding it? Secondly, since the story is taking place the same time Sonic Generations (the original Sonic side of the story) which takes place after Colors, the most recent adventure at the time, why are we going through levels from Forces and Frontiers if they haven’t happened yet? Hell, HE WASNT EVEN IN FRONTIERS! I know the Time Eater is messing with time, but was there any indication that it ALSO messes with time from the future? WHY ARE SONIC VILLAIN MONSTER SO OP!?

Forces is just mid in my opinion but I agree it is the least good boost game Here is my ranking: 1. Unleashed 2. Generations 3. Frontiers 4. Colors 5. Forces

Honestly I think the reason a lot of people like Sonic colors ds more is that it doesn’t feel like it’s as frequently breaking up the gameplay. I think the burst is an outlier because the other ds wisps are actually fun and don’t feel like you have to stop in place to use it. I don’t think colors wii is bad by any means but colors by far does the boost formula better, at least in my personal opinion.

Why does everyone exclude unleashed on the wii? It's basically a different game.

I got this game two weeks ago and its so much fun (and very frustrating since I suck at games)

Sounds to me like a skill issue. (I love this game, but everything you said is right minus for the level design its great when its not bingo highway!)

Now if only I could play it...

In terms of Shadow’s character change, I’d say it was a product of Sonic showing him mercy despite what he has done. Sonic could’ve killed Shadow and probably had the right to do it, but chose not to. It showed Shadow that he has a choice as well. It’s the movie’s core theme.
