Cool TRAIN ive never seen the train
This was a really cool outing. Was my first time at this location. Fun day.
awesome show partner, just finished watching.
@@NissyJ-SAL where's my cohost?
@@FBMRR 😊
Thats looking fantastic Rick.. wasn't available for the live.. but caught the replay.. fine job, fine job indeed..
I'm really happy. There's a few Mos hats here that turned out to be awesome. Can't wait till next month. Should be the final touches.. if you can make it.
@@FBMRR i always want to join in. But my timing is never good these days. But I'll do my best..
Lovely trains
Thanks.
hi rick im trying to figure out a paint marker pen to use on my rails you have any ideas
The only ones I have ever used are from woodlandscenics. They have many colors from black, dirt, rust, and even yellow road strip. Hope that helps.
I didn't see a follow up video for this (brilliant idea btw) so used your links in description and various additions posted in comments to come up with something. I just need to clean it up/remove duplicates. Well done and thanks for taking the time!
I did go back through this a few weeks ago. Some of the links didn't work so I removed them. I should do this as I'm sure there are new stores and links.
Caught the replay, Thats a nice kit, I'm going to have to look them up. Beautiful bridge indeed. Been having trouble making anyone's live streams.. thats one lucky person who's gonna get that.. good job so far.. hope I see your next one..
Glad you caught the replay. The next one should be interesting, paint and texture. It's ok ur not there live. I can always count on you to grab the replay. See ya round the tube.
So nice video 👍👍👍😊
Thanks
Excellent tip!
Thanks Bob. Helps to keep things clean.
Nice job, Rick. It works well and easy to work with. Something I recently found out, tarpaper roofs up north where it snows a lot run vertical on lightly and regular sloped roofs, and can run vertically on steeply sloped roofs. I don't know how steep, maybe once past 45* or more?
Interesting. Thanks Greg.
Looks great Rick!
Thanks Bob. Coming along.
Fantastic work on the structures, I have to add a gravel roof to my S scale Produce warehouse kit! So I can relate with what you did also! (Dave).
It's just different can't have a tar paper roof on every building. Thanks for watching Dave.
Great show Rick.
ThNks Bob. Runnong out things to do. Feel like I'm repeating myself.
@@FBMRR Don’t think of it that way. It’s always good seeing structure builds. Especially yours. A lot of excellent techniques and details.
My wife would use Puff Paints on our kids' clothes. Looked great.
Best memories with mom. Thanks for watching Steve.
Ha, now I caught it. Looking forward to see how it comes out.
Nice.. should be a simple build. Not sure how detailed I'll go.
Hey Rick, I missed the first part of this, but like how it's coming out.
Thanks Greg.. just filling around... got bored... lol
@@FBMRR 😄 I know the feeling. Sometimes you gotta mix the serious with the fun.
Dang I missed it again SIGH
This was an un scheduled pop up. Next Sunday 8pm.
Foltz-very top unboxing- so long-
Thanks.
Cool🙏👍👍 Got some track rework to do. Winter to Spring climate change.✂️tttttttt🚂tttttttt🪚ttt📉
That's a cool idea. Never thought about season changes.

Was great seeing you again Rick, meet n greet was awesome. And hope you remember to duck on them trains-😅. Sorry didn’t catch you last night, was still driving home.
Certainly was a great time. From what I can remember. Lol. See you in October.
The kit so far looks great. Nice haul towards the end. So when are you going to start building the new layout? - Jason
Thanks for watching dude. Not sure about the layout yet. Still moving some things around.

It was a great time in Reading at the meet and greet as usual. And yeah the Dave’s took over the table. Lol Good to see you again
Same Dave. Always good times. Can't wait till next.
I'm glad you told that story about the Railroad House restaurant. That was the funniest thing that happened. I'm still laughing about it.
Also when Plumber grabbed some coal from the moving train at the Breaker
I'm sure there r more stories. I missed the plumber grab. I wasn't on that train.
Very cool, loved hearing about the trip, meeting others from the community is so great! (Dave).
It really is. Can't wait for the next one.
Great time meeting you and everyone Saturday! Happy birthday John!!
Same here. I'm sure John is a closer resource but if you need any help getting started in modeling, please reach out. I'm no expert but I love to help.
Thanks JJ!

I am watching now Rick
Thanks for watching James.
I feel like I have seen this somewhere before. 🤔 Watch your head.
I dunno.. it's so vague after that bump I got. So much fun RJ. Can't wait to hang again.
@@FBMRR I definitely look forward to it. Had a blast with you and the crew.
Great shot, live all the action a steamer gives, wheels piston arms, smoke. Good post
Yeah dude the smells and sounds are like nothing else. Thanks for watching.
Very nice, live the smoke in the background from the steamer

What an awesome group. Truly wish you were here.
@@FBMRR thanks Rick, really wish I was with you all too..
Wish you could've been there Pappy - you missed a great day. And, to answer your question ... there's nothing to know - I opted out of that nonsense years ago. LOL.
@@SchuylkillRiverValley 🤣🤣🤣 yeah John, birthdays are some drama sometimes, .. I definitely wish I was there just wasn't in the cards this weekend. May is always a busy month for me. I'm just glad you made it and had a great time..
Awesome, woof woof have a great time. Tell Plumber not to get wet . Love you all my crazy friends 😊
Sadly I had to leave but we had a great day... plumber was plumber... great dude wet or dry. Lol.
Shame you and Ray weren't there. It was a great day, wish I could've met you guys!
We just didn't have the funds, he would have loved it so much. Hope you all are having a great time. 👍
Woof woof!😂 it was a great time!!
Super. I have two track connector tools. One is a piece of old school Atlas straight track that I applied epoxy to the rail/tie area, and I can use it to push one or two rail joiners onto already laid track, like yours with ties for a handle, and the other is a pair of needle nose pliers that have a wire cutting feature that cut a live wire at one time, leaving a gap in the cutting blade that fits the end of the rail joiners, and I hold the pliers at a 90° angle and push the joiner on the rail. 💙 T.E.N.
Thise are some great ideas. Thanks for sharing. I wonder if I could make those pliers.. hmmmm
OMG - I just stumbled on this - you are a genius! I have been in and out of the hobby like 30 years. Can't tell you how many times I have cut my fingers messing with joiners (I am HO). As chance would have it I am in the middle of replacing some mainline track. I fixed me up one of your tools - painted the long end bright yellow so when I lay it down I can find it. Great tool. It will be available soon on Micro Mark for $39. (just kidding)😄
Glad I could help. Certainly saves on bandaids. Thanks for watching.
