Great little airplane that they're really dated and they're sort of in between everywhere they're not a stall airplane and not a good cross country cruise airplane and so they just don't fit and too many categories except for putting around but doing nothing special.
James Good flew his all over the country. So yes you can fly it long distance.
I used to do a quick negative "bump" when retracting to relieve some of the resistance while the gear was coming up.

My understanding is the 100 hp does NOT qualify for Light sport!
Not necessarily. The “D” model is not Light Sport.
The engine has nothing to do with it being Light Sport qualified. It’s all about legal gross weight. 1320 is max GW for LSA. Granted, most Coupes converted to O-200 became “D” models, which have 1400 GW, that didn’t happen for all O-200 conversions.
When you upgrade the engine, you don't HAVE to increase the gross weight. You just have less to work with. It began as a C model and stays a C model, therefore it's still eligible if they meet gross weight requirements.

With all do respect, for a sales add the plane needs detailed and a videographer shooting it. The dash & panel look terrible. Its dusty and needs glue scraped off. A detailed description of video would be nice on the walk around. A verbal history and build description would be nice. I don’t want to go to a second sight to read about it. I wish you the best of luck tho.
I flew the one person, "Money Might", the proto type of the Money. Same retractable gear.

Why so slow in cruise? Shouldn't you be up around 160-165 KIAS?
The video is at lower altitudes just to show the plane flying, turning, instrumentation functioning. On the trip back from Maine in January it had TAS of 150 kts but the clouds limited the altitude I could fly at. I anticipate it’s a 160kt ish airplane at 8000’ MSL which is pretty normal of the m20j’s I’ve personally flown.
Nope, not the 200hp M20J. Normal cruise KIAS is around 135-ish up in the 7-9k feet region, giving a TAS around the 155kts mark. I flight plan at 155kts, which is pretty close to actual. No Mooney 201 would cruise at 165KIAS.
