wow this video had an advertise already and also got 400 plus views brother congrats. a side from the 400 viewers i love also that disney figure hehehe
im not famillar on that bro but it seems good and cool
what height is he?
Not an exact measurement, but around 6"
Vídeo maneiro!
Thank you for your kind words.
nice lil statue i managed to pick up cple weeks ago the old sideshow weta 1/6 scale radagast for 20yr old statue still looks great lol
I can't wait to get the new Weta Radaghast in Roscoble. I have it on preorder.
Can you make similar video about GIl-Galad statue? I am really thinking about buying him :)
Yes I will. I am currently sick and have no voice, but I will bring him down to the studio so I can take a video. I can tell you that I like the Gil-Galad, but not as much as Elendil - but that is from a character perspective as opposed to the quality of the statue. Even though I don't currently display them together, they do display well together! I'll try and get a video out in the next week for you!
@@CollectiblesCorner thank you :)
@@Ar2r I display him very briefly in this early video of mine. th-cam.com/video/RcSti03Y4Mg/w-d-xo.html I'll get a full review of him up though for you.
Thats the second weta miniature that I have and I love it The back of treebeard is soooooo detailed, great review
I love all the fungi growing on him.
@ I love it when weta gives us details wich are only visible if you actually look closely at the statue or turn it around
enjoying your lotr videos keep them coming 👍🙂
Thank you! Glad you're enjoying. I got plenty more coming!
That sucks to receive a statue in 30+ pieces but at least you got it for free😅
The box sounded like broken glass, but was in pristine condition. The packaging job was some of the worst I'd ever encountered! Keep your original packaging everyone, otherwise reselling is VERY difficult!
@ true it is not just difficult but you also lose money by not having the og box (selling a statue with the og box increase the value by at least 30-60$), I keep and will keep all the boxes of my lotr statues even if it takes a lot of place especially sauron ( 1/6 sauron box is massive😆)
looks sick man. thanks for showing it off. helped me decide to order it too. I also bought the 1:1 scale witch king bust. I'll always sleep soundly now with those two friendly lads watching over me at night lmao
I am super envious you have that Witch King bust! That is one of the most accurate likenesses... And the size looks like it has that wow factor. Thank you for watching, glad the video could help.
My favorite villain😂😂
The Deluxe Version of this statue includes the Hyenas and is absolutely spectacular, I wish I was able to get my hands on it!
Thanks you so much for showing Frodo without the spider's web, because i prefer it without it. I was exactly hesitating to take it, and you convinces me to buy it now. And by a great chance, i saw your video and jumped on it. So thanks a lot, it's a amazing figurine. I love both Sam and Frodo figurine, but i think that Weta made a huge mistake, by making 2 similars figurines for each of them. The figurine of Sam is almost exactly the same (posture, clothings) than the one with a frying pan (which i already have, so this other figurine don't have a lot of interests for me :( because i don't want to pay 40 or 50 euros to have almost the same. Same for Frodo with the blue sword, which look almost the same than this one on your vidoe. So it's kinda sad, because they could make so many original figurines based on Frodo and Sam, so i don't understand they made a too similar figurine for each of them.
Thank you for your comment and I am very glad I was able to help! I completely agree that it is a bummer that the poses and positioning aren't different between the different Sam's and Frodo's. I've also noticed that Frodo's eyes are more vivid on the one with the blue sting sword. I currently have all of the Epic Mini's except for the Golden Gandalf, so if you have any questions about any of them, or want me to show any of them - let me know! Thank you very much for watching.
great statue i have this if you shine light behind it robes are translucent so looks more ghostly i use a green light 🙂👍
Just did this - good call - it looks incredible. Its wild how much the lighting can change the look and feel of a statue!
For me this is the best looking sideshow weta bust/// it just looks exactly like the mouth of sauron in the return of the king and for a statue made over 20+ years ago it still holds up incredibly well to this day. Keep the vids coming, your reviews are fantastic 😁
Yea it's one of the best likenesses of their entire bust line. It feels nice lifting up as it is also one of the heaviest "normal" size busts.
wow <3 thats nice brother
Thank you! I definitely enjoy it beside my computer.
hi keep the lotr vids coming i have this bust aswell great statue love to see video of your lotr display 👍🙂
I will try and get some of my display areas filmed in the coming weeks for you! Ordering some display cases for Black Friday so it will be nice to record them and have a memory of how we displayed them now compared to after the display cases!
Oh gosh I wish I wasn't broke that's so cool thanks for the vid! ❤❤❤
You are very welcome! Thank you for the comment. I have a Weta Nazgul Miniature that I got for around $50, that brings me every bit as much joy as this piece that costs 10x - it's all in how you perceive it!
I'm considering getting this key, and I didn't want to watch a 7 minute review thanks for keeping it short. Also, is it actually metal or just heavy plastic?
It, the key, is metal, the stand is either a hard plastic or painted wood. Thank you for the comment and question! I have mine displayed with an erebor environment, and the sideshow weta Dwarven Lord.
@@CollectiblesCorner Thank you so much I wish the stand was nicer but with the key being real metal I think I need to buy one 😅
One thing I've learned in collectibles is you have to take the word "need" out of your lexicon and thinking, otherwise you might spend all your time focusing on attaining pieces that might not bring you as much joy as some other ones out there. "Need" can narrow your vision. "That would be cool to put in my computer room!" I always try and identify that I like it, what emotion I feel with it, and where I would put it. If I can nail down all three of those and it's a good price, green light. I know once I adopted this type of thinking with it, I enjoyed it more and are most importantly I am able to let go of pieces when the time comes.
His face is super well made Do you have the mouth of sauron
Yes - I have that Bust with my Sauron 1/6th (Weta), and all the Ring Wraith Helms (minus Forod) and the Haradrim displayed together. Everything circling The large Sauron. I'll try and do the Mouth of Sauron bust soon - it's one of the best!
@@CollectiblesCornerawsome I cant wait 😅
Just recorded my Mouth of Sauron Bust video by Sideshow Weta! Uploading right now, should be fully processed and up later today!
WOW STARWARS <3 nice broooo
Just recorded 3 more of my Star Wars collectibles! I'll release them over the next week or two! Hope you enjoy!
Thats a nice piece by weta I wonder when did you start collecting lotr statues?
I started collecting about 2 years ago.
@@CollectiblesCorner Nice I did the same I started around 1 /5 years ago but my collection Is no where near as big as you 😅
This statue is just incredible In my top 3 best Sideshow weta lotr statue for sure Keep up the grind you just got a new sub 😁
Thank you for the kind words and subscription! It means a lot. I agree, this piece is sideshow weta at thier finest and in my top 10 for the old sideshow weta. I typically have it displayed with the Easterling and the haradrim to represent poverty and it's effect on people.
great video review👍
Thank you. I appreciate you.
The horse looks too shinny.
The camera seemed to pick up the reflections more than there were reflections. The piece does have an interesting sheen to it though, not sure if it's supposed to represent water. Thank you for your comment.
@@CollectiblesCorner Have you seen InArts 1/6 scale Nazgul on Horse? Looks damn brilliant.
@@stevemuzak8526 I can 100% agree on that.
Wow, looks fantastic!
Thank you for taking the time to comment! I agree whole heartedly with you!
That looks sick🔥
Hey thanks for the comment! I completely agree with you. I wish the water was a little more blue and less grey - but man the detail on the horse and rider are - incredible.
I really wanted to buy one, but that pose could have been stronger/dynamic.
I can agree with you there. However, It is already by far the largest mini epic though and from a packaging and pricing stand point I can understand the rationale. I wish they made the facial expression more pronounced and exaggerated.
@@CollectiblesCorner Isn’t the Balrog bigger? I spent $50 less than what being asked for. Just going by your hand for scale.
@@Heddrick The Balrog is about the same width and depth, but the height on the Smaug is about 25-30% taller. As far as volume and weight it feels significantly heavier. I wish they would have made him more "weiner dog" shaped, would be the best way I could describe what I wish. The Balrog is my immediate recommend when anyone asks which Epic Mini they should get first! We have ours with Thorin, Azog LE, and Radaghast mini epics (all placed on a large speaker) then below it Erebor with the Key to Erebor! Adding The Erebor Royal Guard Helm (once I get it properly cleaned). My video does make the scaling of the two look different than in person, I'll work on making sure I get some different angles and put a ruler in some shots for scale / dimensionality. If you'd like me to do some size comparison videos, I think that could be a great idea and help people set up their own dioramas better.
@@Heddrick Another great Epic Mini that is large is the Cave Troll - I actually have on the opposing speaker, that Balrog, the Cave Troll, and the Moria Orc epic mini's. They work great on the speakers because they don't rattle, if they fall or get hit they are very durable (and very easy to repair with UV resin), and the kids and guests seem drawn to them more than really intricate and equally sized statues/figures.
@@CollectiblesCorner So is Smaug larger than the Balrog? I'd consider it if so. I don't really like the cave troll's face. From photos, he looks more unintelligent and less fierce; like in the movies. Maybe do a size comparison in a future video. I'd watch :)
wow you order those on disney bro? wow so nice <3
I got these Disney pieces from Iron Studios Collectibles.
hi great statue i have this what i also did was use eaglemoss sam figure holding galadriel light as it fits perfect infront of shelob 👍
Omgosh the Eaglemoss are the perfect size! I don't have any in my collection! We have tried the special edition weta mini epic frodo and Sam infront but it looks weird. Great suggestion. We have the gentle giant busts of Sam and frodo in orc armor (and the helms) that we were going to put on the far end of the counter from shelob as kind of a chronological diorama. My wife says you deserve a high five for that Eaglemoss figurine suggestion!
@@CollectiblesCorner thank you if you look for "eaglemoss Sam At Cirith Ungol" figure fits just right an not out of place 👍🙂
hi there great video would love to see video showing all your lotr statue collection pls 👍🙂
Thank you for the comment, and I'm very happy to hear you enjoyed the video. I plan on trying to do a piece every other day till the end of the year from my LOTR collection. I just got in Grey Havens and the Coronation Aragorn, haven't even had the time to unbox them yet! I am excited to showcase more of it and help people decide if a certain piece or type of piece is a good fit for them and thier collection. I also really want to highlight how far the quality has come with the newer technologies.
Doing some reviews and unboxings today - Name a couple characters or scenes from the movie and I'll try and put content for those out over the next week!
Thank you. Helpful, just ordered it. Enjoy yours.
I have been enjoying it very much! It took a direct hit from a hard dog toy and survived, not a scratch - very impressed! Come back in a week and let me know how you are enjoying it! As Marie Kondo would pose the question: "Does it bring joy?"
And Thank you very much for the kind words. I am so happy my content helped you make a decision!
@@CollectiblesCorner your setup is nice in background. Hope a closer shot at the end of the figure. I am building up my iron studios disney and also their got Batman/Catwoman and Superman/Lois (shipped). Best wiahes
@@CollectiblesCorner I will pull the trigger on the deluxe Ariel and Beauty/Beast. Will be an early Christmas and costly but life is short. Thank you for posting these videos.
@@hussainmahmoud7881 I wish I went with the Deluxe Ariel and Beauty/Beast so very badly! The value of having all of the characters there is so good! The Ariel at 500 USD I view as a really great deal, they could have easily charged 800 USD for it. But 1300USD for the two is still a lot, but the good thing is that Disney pieces hold their value and usually appreciate value - so selling it in a year or two you'll likely make your money back or make some money. I know my current Disney pieces always get the most attention from Adults as opposed to kids initially, any kids coming over always ask about them a few hours after they arrive. They really are pieces that catch the eye and stand out! I hope you enjoy them! Please come back and let me know how you like them! If you have questions on any of the rest of the Disney collection at Iron Studios I can do my best to help answer!
