PROPHET BENJAMIN represents a creative and dynamic voice with unrelenting charisma. Influenced by his magnetic personality, in his teens, his friends coined his nickname Prophet Benjamin. In as little as two years, as part of the group Black Star Original, Prophet Benjamin wrote, composed, and recorded his first reggae song, Babylon Fooling. In 2012 for the first time, Prophet took part in the 2012 Soca Monarch with ‘Throw Wine’, which won him the 4th prize and in 2020 with Betty Cat. In 2018, Prophet earned the recognition of The Urban Music Awards in the category of Best Reggae Artist. His loyal fans know and love his catalogue: “Pretty Boy”, taking him to the number one spot for some 5 weeks as well as other hits like Usual Suspect, Coming to Moruga, Whole Field of Weed, Thousand Arrows and Delilah.
