People have left some pretty stupid comments on here. Just FYI - this is NOT from a single resident. The entire subdivision was told to leave their bagged yard waste on THIS ONE particular lot to make it easier for pickup. This is the result of several, several residents.

i know this may sound ridiculous but as a kid, i used to look forward to watching the garbage men come by. i've had a side loader garbage truck since moving to upstate ny from long island.

and then there are amazon workers wanting 30 an hour for standing around and occasionally packing 5 lb products into boxes

In my city, the city crews come with pickup trucks 🛻 or dump trucks with small front-end loaders to pick up bulk items shown on this video. Our garbage truck company doesn't pick up large items like this. This is why garbage trucks fill up so fast and break down often. The garbage trucks are designed to pick up and store garbage, not to crush household furniture and other construction materials. They are garbage trucks, not crushers. As soon as the garbage trucks miss one day of garbage pick up because of damage to the garbage truck, people call and bitch about their garbage 🗑 not being picked up. 😂
