Sander Boury went through life as a drummer. Driven by an unstoppable urge to challenge himself behind the drums, he went through a number of bands to eventually take permanent positions in Narwhal, Thebou and Calm Before Psycho.

Who would have thought that this die-hard drummer would suddenly develop into a multi-instrumentalist? He fell under the spell of the piano and saxophone, which he mastered mainly as an autodidact. Soon he brought all his instruments together in self-written compositions, which gave rise to his solo project under the name Sander Boury.

The first published song Mostar (2023) became a cinematic, atmospheric mix between different genres. Subsequent songs will not be long in coming either. As much as a rhythmic acrobat, Sander Boury is a creative musician who dances with finesse over keys, drums and knobs to enchant not only your ears, but also your eyes.
