Thanks so much man. I’ve been trying to get this last piece of armor to get platinum. I used lower armor and weapons but keep beating him even I equipped lowest weapon. Your guide helped me finally achieved the last trophy. I’ve done it on another save much easier simply beating the crab out of him but NG+4 is so much different. 😀

This seems super tedious like why can't we get the arm guard just for defeating him.

god im mad, when they say cut of his arms i took at as all of them so ive got him down to 2 back arms only for me to reset because i thought he didnt have enough health left multiple times...

Last item I need after 3 playthroughs and I missed this one as didn’t realise how you get it. Bit of a ridiculous way to have to achieve Platinum trophy. Otherwise the game is great.

I did the same thing that gave me nothing,im in the 3rd ng now.

Thanks for this bro. It’s literally the only thing I was missing for full completion and I didn’t want to mess this up. I had to downgrade the starting weapon back to its lowest tier and remove sparks from all my dmg and Crit modifiers. I was still doing a worrying amount of dmg. I couldn’t get the top two arms to break off. Thanks for clearing this up 👍 just got full completion achievement on Steam.

Can you immobilise him and attack the back?

Use 3 focus powered hits with his back exposed. This worked for me. Seems to he the most consistent. Use when he is down on all 8 😂.
