I went in 2023 and again in 2024. The change in prices and quality of “yellow” sticker Pokémon single cards was very noticeable. That said there were deals to be found outside and inside Tokyo, it just took more effort

It was ruined here in the US too. Any advice for if we do go to Japan looking for Pokemon cards?

It was ruined years ago but deals can still be found in lesser tourist trap areas such as Sendai. Bargains galore for retro games.

They are sold out everywhere here in Pokemon Center Sapporo and Chitose

It would be nice if you do some kind of guide for games and Pokémon tcg hunting in Japan with list of best shops (maybe a PDF guide or video guide but with more details, adress etc. or put some pins on google maps and share your map with best stores? I think the hits is same, just better/worse luck because the packs can be mixed from different boxes. also just a suggestion maybe cut the pack all at once so vids will be quicker. love your vids

so planning to go to japan for pokemon cards in the summer, would for recommend tokyo or nagoya for pokemon card hunting. I have already been to osaka and it was amazing!

Do you think its still possible to find deals in local shops? I was in japan last year and it was pretty nice but im worried that its got much worse.

Did you try to get Terastal Festival packs or just the 151? Nevermind. Just saw the latter part of the video and holy smokes they limit you to 5 packs only. It was like 40-50 packs earlier when I went this year.

brooo what are thoses prices in the book off that's insaaane. I just come back from osaka, prices are easely x3/4. That giovanni's Nidoking 9:07 was on of my chase card but I couldn't even find it at reasonable price ☠ That place is diamond, is that common in Japan countryside ?

Just got back from Japan and definitely can see the difference between the city prices and videos you post a bit more rural. Unfortunately on a short timeframe I wasn't able look a bit more remote. Luckily still found a few Pokémon bargains but had to look in way more stores. Way too many book-offs hoarding the Pokémon games at higher prices than I can import for 😁

lol I even spend $450 blakc Friday pokemon booster packs in the mall third floor and just finding cool rare cards and yeah I hopefully will find some rare cards in Tokyo, cause I had a Japanese friend live in Tokyo and will pick us up at the Haneda airport and sleep at his apartment while getting jet lag and he will guide us the tour around Tokyo and take bullet train to Osaka for just 10 days and my dad thinks it’s fine with my friend hanging out and shopping

Also make sure to check out that mandarake further when you go there again, some badass comics and Mangas in the back area!

Love your videos man but you REALLY need to familiarize yourself better with yen-usd conversions if youre planing on always suggesting the price in USD. 20k yen is nowhere near 200 usd. Not attacking your content, just a friendly suggestion 😊

I’ll go to Japan on March 9 2025 cause my dad is interested looking for car display diecast in Tokyo city and I also like to shop for trading cards to collect in my binder so yes ur videos are interesting for traveling

Friend was hunting for 4 weeks trying to get me VS and Vending at a decent price, hardly any luck. Then I realised USA, China and European sellers seemed to have visited and hoovered everything up. A shame for collectors 😢

So which part of Japan would you recommend ? I will Go to Japan the First Time soon. 95 percent Just for Pokemon cards haha

No offense, but move the camera a bit slower when you are showing off the walls of pokemon cards. It is a bit hard to see which cards are there and their prices. Other than that i appreciate videos like these, because I am going to japan next year with my friend and we will defo be checking out stores like this one. So thank you and God bless you
