colin greenwood secret power revealed (real)

inspired by comment on the video its from (glastonbury 2003 idioteque)
important message from jonny greenwood
มุมมอง 10K2 ปีที่แล้ว
i cant believe he said this EDIT: any "jonny has said the words cock and balls" deniers - yes this is real, ive posted the full poem reading by jonny in the comments. its from a poem called "sunny prestatyn" by philip larkin (which is why he reads it seriously, bcs its an actual famous poem). appearently jonny was invited to read poems for a week on some radio show during the 90s (i would guess...
mfw radiohead bloom
มุมมอง 4.6K2 ปีที่แล้ว
(walks in) tkol is a good album and bloom (yes the studio version) is one of the best radiohead songs of all time (doesnt elaborate) (leaves)
jonny greenwood.exe has stopped working
มุมมอง 6K2 ปีที่แล้ว
i made this ages ago but for some reason never uploaded it here. its another jonny meme but come on. hes just such a irl cryptid and this is no cap with no crazy editing he just str8 up turned off for like 30 seconds, all i did was replace a brief cut away to thom with the previous footage but it appears he didnt really move from that position during that time anyway

"I can see the crack in Your ass, Jonny!" -Thom Yorke. 2008.
wait what is the first song??
U forgot myxomatosis 😢
inspirational
i always loved how sharp and pixeliy motion picture soundtrack sounded live…
I didn't understand anything. What happened?
jonny playing exit music is ETHEREAL live. the mellotron during "now we are one" is completely different than how he plays in the studio version
Was not disappointed to see Climbing Up The Walls. Studio version is good, but it’s probably my least favorite on OkC. The live version, however, is one of my favorite RH songs, period. The only other song that is elevated that much by their live version is The Gloaming, which you included as well. Nice list, didn’t disappoint!
so inspirational words from an inspired man
Identikit is amazing live. Don't know what happened on the studio version.
john radiohead
what about five , six, seven get to heaven IM UP IN THE CLOOOOUDS
and i thought baiken summoning tatamimats out of nowhere was crazy…
Faster Jonny 🗣️🔥‼️
The I might be wrong album has the best version of all songs on it
i think johnny greenwood is the first human i saw in a stage playing a radio
also "looking in the wrong place" is a contrast to "everything in its right place", both songs being the start of their album
So that’s why he always stares into the camera like there’s a ghost behind it
I love this underrated gem so much.
Jonny def got that music virtuoso flavour of 'tism
This is just what having auditory processing issues is like
These modulars synthezisers are quite intricate devices, and when it comes to Radiohead the bar's set in a interlestelar high. Johnny is a genius.
That and the mtv beach house lmao
i wish i could forget all the lyrics so that the song could be funy again
Ur missing the version of kid a with harmonica live, so good
strobe lights and blown speakers
I absolutely adore Jonny so much. Bro is literally just turning a switch up and down and is acting like he’s shredding a fucking solo, HE’S SO ICONIC.
Arpeggi, Ful Stop
It's probably not included bc there's no video footage of it but my fav example is the harmonica in kid a from berlin 2000. Or the lead guitar on early versions of videotape
Exit Music at Bonnaroo 2006 Jonny does this eerie treble pick in the verse before the drums kick in. Absolutely haunting, stuck with me since that night seeing it there live, and fortunately the band finally uploaded the footage to TH-cam. Also, You, Maquiladora, and ACPG, and well most of their Live at Atoria London DVD are wild, and my preferred versions of most of these songs for some of the parts that are played and effects that are used
Love you dude
Cool seeing a clip of a show you were at on here. My biggest one of these is The Gloaming. A whole extra section focused on the bass which was incredible. *Edit: Apologies, you mention The Gloaming!
The picking pattern for “Present tense” is slightly different in the live performances I’ve seen Edit: it’s also played a half step down live
I ate 5 hard boiled eggs while watching this
this is. so cool
I love How in the lives they added samples with random lines in the Intro of National anthem
My favorite radiohead live detail is in one of Airbag where he just screams the fourth "aaaah". I do that every time i cover the song now.
Which live vid? I would love to catch this
th-cam.com/video/T6cJJ39PpBU/w-d-xo.html@@becketclark9942
OK computer OKNOTOK
Jonny has beef with the camera man i swear.
0:50 fun fact, there are actually lyrics at that point but it’s hard to hear, but they’re actually some of my favorite Radiohead lyrics “The lights are on but nobody's home Everybody wants to be a friend The lights are on but nobody's home Nobody wants to be a slave Walkin', walkin', walkin', walkin' Walkin', walkin', walkin', walkin' Walkin', walkin', walkin', walkin' Walkin', walkin', walkin', walkin'”
Ngl the best goes hard on the moog
You could make this about literally any radiohead song
Definitely, here ,he is just creating another song for the next album
I WATCHED A FIFTHTEEN SECONDS AD FOR THIS THING
Worth it
"Faster Jonny"
I first read "holy shit, he generate shit"
this is great
I have been laughing way too hard for this shit
LoL
those camera jumps like on blow up in the air performance always have me dying
poor jonny, he wasnt fast enough
faster!!!!
