Incidentally, her view has the tinge of anti-Semitism.

A friend of mine once prophesied that all bookstores will shut down in a decade or so. Nowadays you can order books online on Amazon and there is no need to actually go anywhere in order to procure books.
I mean that is definitely a possibility. That's why I try to promote bookstores to others and why I pretty much always buy my book at physical bookstores to try and preserve them.

Great video! This Is How You Lose The Time War is my next read so I’m happy you enjoyed it. I also would be very interested in hearing more about your experience with Norwegian Wood. I’ve only read 1Q84 by Murakami but I absolutely hated how much he focused in on sexual abuse and paedophilia, and also hated how he wrote women. I’ve read other beautiful Japanese novels that I prefer way more, so I’d be very interested in hearing what you have to say ☺️

I feel like everyone was in a reading slump these past weeks 🤭 I read Know My Name around two months ago and was blown away. Heartbreaking but also so beautiful. Chanel Miller is an amazing writer and I can't wait to see what else she'll publish. I think absolutely everyone should read this book and actually it should be mandatory to read it in school. I agree so hard on the romance in fantasy books. Romance books are just always boring to me but a little romance in fantasy? I'd die for it
Yes I’d love for Chanel to write another book immediately. I’ll read it no matter what it’s about! And I’m glad you get me about the balance of romance and fantasy. When you get it right it’s magic lol
