    Great review! So does the Klipsch do R/L stereo when paired?.....Also is there any video lag when watching movies in single and paired mode?

    • @AudioInsideScoop
      @AudioInsideScoop 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks and thanks for watching! Yeah, you can pair as a R/L Pair or have full output to both speakers. It's your choice which mode you want to put it in and there is a different button press sequence to determine the mode. I haven't really noticed much, if any lag but, a lot of this will also be dependent on the connected device. You'll want the later gen BT chip on your phone/tablet/computer as well -- or it may bottleneck your connectivity.

    I have watched many comparisons, you however are a different level, and I truly appreciate that. I have purchased four bluetooth speakers recently, (all over $250) I returned them all. Not being able to find them in a retail store, I was forced to buy not hearing them. This is the world of retail today, I feel bad, because I know the costs they absorb with returns, but I don't make the rules.. I have 5 Definitive Technology W9's, and hold all small speakers in comparison, Im looking for room filling, strong, vocals at all levels, and no distortion. The Detroit is not this style speaker, I understand, but I always want "that" sound, and try to match it. The Detroit is as close as you get with a Bluetooth and I'm happy I was picky until I found it. Your reviews were instrumental in my final decision, thank you. Now saying the W9 is the best, unfortunately over time they have all lost the ability to connect wi-fi, some stopped working, and now only one is in my home hard wired. I have looked for a replacement and ended with the Denon 350... unfortunately its a step down. I'm curious what the true replacement is...

      Thanks for the input and for your kind words! I love what I do and, while my format may not inspire as many views as others, I feel its the right way to go about it. I try to be as informative as possible and help however I can. Appreciate you saying that. :) As for the W9 and the 350 killer, if you like the sound of Klipsch/Detroit, have you given The Three a listen? It's not a portable speaker but, to my knowledge, those two aren't either, are they? May be something to check out! As for fully portable though, Detroit's been my favorite in this tier. Plan to move on to the party speakers at some point in the future though. We will see how those do in comparison.

    Awesome video dude. I actually have the original Emberton. Do you think it's worth getting the Nashville, is it enough of an upgrade? Would appreciate your opinion.

    • @AudioInsideScoop
      @AudioInsideScoop 21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks! and thanks for watching! To be fully transparent, I have never messed with the 1st version in person so --- Ill be commenting based on gen II alone. Starting with sound, I dont *think* sound profile changed much gen 1 to gen 2 in Marshall. I personally like the sound of the Klipsch better but, Marshall is a close second for me. If you already own the emberton and it sounds good, I don't see a need to upgrade for sound. Now...Tech wise, Youll get a huge bump in battery life moving to a new gen. More than double brand new. Bluetooth tech has also moved forward so, youll get a better connection and more range out of a Nashville or Emberton II. ----All of that said, the Emberton III was just released. I haven't gotten my hands on it yet but just got it into the studio and will be breaking it out shortly. I plan to do a compare of gen II vs Gen III and then a compare of Gen III to the Nashville. You may want to hold off and scope that option out as well.. That may be the one to go for based on the specs i've read. :)

    If u have knowledge of cheap speakers, most of the time u just need an eq and just boost the highs and lows, cause they are intentionaly sounding flat, so u can choose how it sounds with a small EQ. :)

      Thanks for watching and for your thoughts! In some cases, a tune can help immensely. Even on the higher tier brands, tuning to your liking can make a huge difference. That said, I would say the vast majority of people are listening straight out of the box and will never touch these options. Having something that you can just yank out of the box, connect, and listen is key.

    This is the second hear with me that the main sections are much quieter than the intro and outro. The earlier "hear with me" videos were more consistent. Obviously you want to hear the volume differences but I had to up my volume quite a bit to hear anything when the speakers were set to 50% or 70%. Then the outro was extremely loud by comparison. The viewer shouldn't have to adjust the volume to comfortably watch a video, so maybe there is a level adjustment you can make when putting the recordings with the intro and outro.

    • @AudioInsideScoop
      @AudioInsideScoop หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching and for your comment! I totally get that there is a huge variance in volume between my ins and outs and the track listenings. While it can be a harsh transition--- This is because I master the audio on the Ins and Outs but, for the listening, I do not. If I were to do so, It would alter what you guys are hearing and I want to avoid that as much as possible. I want it to stay as true as possible and as close as possible to what we hear in room. I do boost gain identically across the board on all listening portions but am limited to where the loudest tracks peak at the 100% volume segments. One thing I have considered is to drop ins and outs significantly to match roughly the mid tier volumes of the listenings. That way as a viewer you wouldn't have to tinker with the volume knob as much but we can still remain true to the volume of the tracks-- What are your thoughts on that? We've got another listening coming shortly with the Emberton VS Nashville. May give it a go there.

    • @jamethogany
      @jamethogany หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AudioInsideScoop It won't change what the differences are if they are all given the same level adjustment. If you multiply an equation by the same number on both sides of the equals sign the equation remains the same. You aren't removing the authenticity of the sound, you are only making the volume of the video more consistent. The volume differences in the track should remain exactly the same if every track is lifted by the same amount. If someone comes from another channel or video and then one video is very hard to hear they will instantly click off the video, you know? so lowering the intro doesn't make sense. But the 100% volume parts are quieter than the outro music. That doesn't make sense either. I'm saying that someone viewing the video should not have to physically change the volume of their system to hear the comparison. You want the whole video to be hearable. If you lower the intro, people will not understand why they can't hear it. They will assume something is wrong and just click off. I guess if there is a happy middle ground that you can find so that if someone were to need to change volume a little and only do it once that would be better. I guess I don't know what you mean by the authenticity of the sound in your point. Do you mean between videos and different speakers all being the exact distance from the same microphone? and how they are heard by that microphone? There are different microphones that gather sound from wider or narrower fields. Is that microphone optimal for that distance or environment? (this is mostly rhetorical) I don't really think that it matters to people in general that every speaker be kept exactly the same distance, but rather to hear the differences between the speakers on the current comparison. (obviously considering your disclaimer) I don't mean to be critical, and I hope you don't think I'm being ridiculous. I'm just trying to give feedback on things that make me stop and take notice. If I didn't care I would just click away and not worry about it..

    • @AudioInsideScoop
      @AudioInsideScoop หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the clarification. I really do appreciate the feedback. I want to make this as helpful as possible, as well as as enjoyable as possible. I don't think you're being hyper critical at all! I did boost all tracks on this video but, probably could have pushed em a bit further. Maybe another 2-4 throughout. The thought on the ins and outs is more of a balance thing. If you can adjust according to the intro and have some items come in a bit hotter and some a bit less, it may balance a bit better and, hopefully avoid the click off rate you were mentioning. Will give it a try and we will see! As for the comparing video to video---this was something I was toying with originally -- thinking I could give viewers the option to click back and forth between videos if i hadn't put the specific speaker they were interested in side by side yet. I genuinely believe nobody is doing this though so, I am kinda getting away from this and, as you mentioned, solely focusing on the two in the current compare. I will just try and release more remixes to accommodate the other as people request them, though. Lastly, I think we are saying the same thing here. I'll use a real example referencing an upcoming video as -- the Emberton VS Nashville will release in a few days and I'm working on its edit as we speak. --- I said I am limited to where the loudest speaker on the loudest track at 100% volume segment peaks - In this video I boosted all by 8. With this. we will have the Nashville coming in about -2 at its loudest point. When Nashville is at about -2, we have Emberton hanging around -6 to -8ish. Now we transition to our 50% portions and, though we've boosted by about 8 on all tracks, we are still sitting around -18 on the Emberton and -12 on the Nashville. It's going to feel super quiet but, If I boost the 50-70% portions any further without touching the 100%, it would give an unrealistic compare of the level differences when you hit 100%. If I boost all tracks further including the 100%, itll peak the loudest speaker and give a rough representation there. Basically what I am doing with the edit on this next one is pushing as far as possible on the tracks to just before peaking and dropping my intro and outro to about 70%ish of what the loudest point of the loudest speaker so itll hopefully avoid knob turning. When this one drops, please shoot me a comment and let me know your thoughts as, the feedback is much appreciated!

    Can i make a zoom call if connected via bluetooth with a desktop or laptop?

    • @AudioInsideScoop
      @AudioInsideScoop หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you have any Bluetooth speaker with a microphone connected, you should be able to select it as your mic source and speaker source within zoom or within your audio settings. That said, audio quality will be similar to a phone or laptop so, if you're looking to improve the quality of the record, I would lean more towards an external mic as opposed to a speaker. :)

      Funniest part about this comment is you thinking I am actually paid. I wish. I'm pretty far in the negatives with this channel -- going out of pocket for all costs associated. I'm making these to help and because I enjoy the products. 0 money whatsoever and I have paid full price for both of these speakers. Anyways...that said...I do mic them up and play them as well but it's a separate video. This one/this style is a first impression and me testing for a review and giving my thoughts. If you want to hear the speakers (kinda/through a mic/over the internet)---check out my "Hear with me segments." You can listen along and compare there.

    If I win I’d do a review on it on my Instagram & other platforms as well. I used to DJ & love music and it would make my life to have a speaker like that! I could finally enjoy walks again and clip it to my stuff! Super cool! Fingers are crossed & thank you so much for this comparison & opportunity 🤞🤞💖

    I really tried hard to like this speaker. Just disappointed. Bro you lie!! I am returning mine. I could not believe at louder volume the speaker is actually trash because it gives up highs to perform lows and it sounds horrible! At this price it should not sound unbalanced all the time when you want it louder. Save your time everybody and don’t buy this the groove XXL is way better and I am keeping that one.

    • @AudioInsideScoop
      @AudioInsideScoop 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Love this. Thanks for giving your honest opinion. Thats legit what I request in the comments section. I didn't lie though, no...I really do love the speaker but, one person's opinion doesn't mean it's for everyone. If we can get varying opinions in the comments -- people saying what they do and dont like--my hope is it'll help everyone decide what's best for them. Thanks for your thoughts and thanks for watching!

    I was in the market for a Nashville when I found your channel. The Austin would be great to take golfing with friends or in my pack when I am out for the day but do not have room for a larger portable speaker. I bought a Klipsch soundbar several years ago and when I heard they were finally entering the portable speaker game it made me super excited, as I felt the only options the last few years were Marshalls and JBLs.

    I always do comparisons or watch reviews before i buy anything electronic. Klipsch has always been a blip on my radar and for such a small speaker to put beautiful sound is awesome. I do agree that track changing is extremely important, but overall sound is most important to me. I will mostly use it while hiking or garage/yardwork.
