10 minutes of steel pennies. A novelty, but that's about it. I was hoping for a 1943 bronze or 1944 steel, hands and lense out of frame enough to suggest magician training.

I would get it graded from pcgs or ngc. It sounds like it's struck on the wrong planchet. After grading u can decide if u want to sell it or put it up for auction. I hope this helps you.

According to Google the 1943 cents could fetch low prices of 10-13 cents for circulated and 50+ cents when uncirculated. But then again, I'd suggest to show it to a professional/coin dealer to get the true value, esp. when dealing with details.
