When these people say they are ordinary, it probably means they are no different or no better than anyone else in the world. They are desperate sinners just like you and me. But the emphasis is on the extraordinary grace given by Jesus Christ. And they are inviting you to come and hear about that grace, and appropriate it for yourself. ❤

KJV "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:" I know you think you mean well, but this commercial is a feigned attempt at humility. It's actually quite easy to see through.

It is a deep and humbling knowledge that they are no better than any other person on earth, except that God is His grace has saved them from their own depravity. To say otherwise is judging them as if you could see in their hearts when they say they are ordinary and they are being hypocritical. 1 Samuel 16:7 "People look at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart." To say they are "feigning humility" is to say you can see into their hearts.

I assure you, it's feigned, the reality evidencing that fact is buried beneath terminologies established on miscinceived notions. Because damned they are who swallow the pat answers from seminarian systematic, and it's true. If I was stand up and question the babbling from a pulpit every time erroneous concepts were spewed to pews, would the self esteemed pastor 9blige my questions. Where I discovered a need for clarification, or challenged their insisted statement of exposition. And they excuse themselves from accountability, hiding behind their Doctorates and Masters of Fivinity.
