Submission for Pwnisher’s “Alternate Realities” Render Challenge!
Was lots of fun to make! Unfortunately I did not have as much time as I anticipated, so I had to scrap a lot of elements from my concepts and I was left with some errors. Still, I’m happy with the result, I learned a lot and I was also able to help other participants in the process, couldn’t ask for more!

hey, is it possible to do this on the faceless rig or rigv4 because on the step at 5:09 has a very complicated web of nodes 22~ nodes roughly.
Yes it’s possible. Connect a ‘Mix Shader, node at the very end of the node setup. As the factor connect the Alpha output of the no skin texture. On the other inputs of the ‘Mix Shader’ connect the “web of nodes” and a ‘Transparent BSDF’, you’ll need to guess in which input they’ll go though. If you have any problems, do let me know.

theres a problem when i followed the 2nd method, after sculpting the body part that i wanted it to have folds suddenly goes out of place
@ I download blender 2.83 LTS in the Microsoft Store, yet it still does the same thing.
when I do the cloth brush, it's fine and all in the sculpting, but when i swap back to default or layout its the same as before, how do i fix this
The skin is still all black after I connected the nodes like in the video...
You will need to go into viewpoint shading mode to see it if you're using cycles.

Hey great video but I just have one problem I use blender 2.79 and there isn't anything to connect alpha on can you or anyone help me, please
Yeah I can back this up using v.2.79 and cycles I am unable to find where to attack the alpha to in order to get the pitch black to go away, other then that everything has worked great!
when i add wrinkles to the arms in object mode it makes it move and look really weird
