Im all for some suspension of disbelief in a show like star wars, but some of the plots are just insulting lately. I remember watching Obi-Wan when he starts like a 10 foot fire an we have to act like that kept Vader away. Im hoping season 2 of ahsoka isnt shitty, it feels like they’re reaaaaally stretching that story

I agree that most of the movies should be watched in like highlight reel cuz yea theres lots of rough stuff otherwise. I do appreciate mace windu being recognized as the strongest alongside yoda by anakin, that alone makes him pretty cool. Then he’s right about anakin the whole time. He literally wouldve saved the day if they never let anakin in in the first place. The books that go into him an his powers are cool. I like that he’s the only jedi who uses that lightsaber form, an he’s the only one who uses a little bit of dark side. I’m not a big Han guy, i dont really care about blasters an pilots, i lean towards the force an lightsabers. I agree the prequels are rough in general but man these new ones are so godawful they make me not hate the prequels

I like star wars, i googled that inquisitor character to see if there was something about her i was missing, something that would make her make sense to me. Instead i would scroll past headlines accusing her backlash of being race based an not based on her character being bad. I’m also not someone that wants star wars to be about luke anikan an obiwan. Anytime star wars ever comes up I ask why they wont do shows/movies about all the cool EU stuff that went down before episode 1. I love the rebels show, and i was pumped when rosario dawson got cast as Asohka. I think the writing/plotting on the show isnt great, but thats not her fault. I think they cast a great Ezra. The only point I was trying to make is that valid criticism gets swept up into the racist pile when thats not the source of my criticism. Did anyone like that inquisitor character? Anyone at all? If so- why?

There is even evidence that the Josephus passage are written much later. There are ZERO first hand exobiblical references to Jesus. The only difference between Kwanzaa and Christmas is that one was made up a long time ago and one was made up more recently.
