Greetings! I'm Johnny Trekkie, an aspiring amateur travel youtuber. I love to travel, explore, and eat! I am not a professional, not the best looking, nor the smartest...but I'm having lots of fun filming my travels and turning them into videos to share. And I also happen to love a certain science fiction television show from the 1960s....can you guess which one? :)

Charleston Food Tour!
Charleston, South Carolina... this beautiful and lovely southern city known for it's Civil War history, classic Southern architecture and charming streets, Fort Sumter, and an amazing food scene and great BBQ! The city is relatively small, but it's packed with great restaurants and eateries! I focused on BBQ, and soul food, as I can't find that good stuff in my hometown San Diego. Unfortunately I didn't have time try R Kitchen or FIG, and I've already dined at the Savannah location for Husk, which I found just okay. I only had 2 days, less than 48 hours, to eat my way through the Charleston, but I think I did a pretty good job!

I've been snorkeling in La Jolla Cove for 10 years...the orange Garibaldi have never swarmed around me like that before en mass! Maybe they knew Hurricane Hillary was coming soon? The Blue Eye fishes were also very inquisitive...maybe it was my Toucan swimwear attracting everyone?
