i was in the same situation, just pre-college. i’ve said before here that i know i want to go into film, and that its my passion. i never really put it into action though. and now recently, ive been doing 5-6 hour film shoots per day with my friends, im editing nonstop, scheduling times and barely getting sleep…. and i love every second of it. i know for sure this is my passion now, and im so grateful to have found it this early in my life. in the next couple weeks ill be deciding where to go to college, and its going to be for filmmaking. this is a vlog that im sure resonates with so many people noah, and good luck with that internship, i hope you get it!!! have a great day

This resonates with me so hard. I pursued a degree in mathematics, as it was the only thing I was somehow "really good" at, winning contests in high school, doing extra curriculars, all that shit. I excelled with little to no effort, so why not continue? All of my friends headed in the same direction, and I just went with the flow. Four years later, I am burnt out, I can even open the textbook to study for my last exams, graduation is getting close and I cant WAIT to get out and do something that actually brings me joy.
