Everton's prep for this game cost us I think. They should've stayed in Holland after the Cup Winners Cup final, some light training on the Thursday before travelling to Wembley on the Friday. Instead they flew back to Liverpool after the game in Rotterdam, the management definitely, and maybe one or two of the players, went out to Chinatown on the piss and I think it contributed to our ordinary performance and downfall on the day.
