that is one sick c90 cub !💪
Just came across your channel I love bonkers projects like this, I remember me & my bestie saying we'd love to do a tour of Europe on C90's but it never happened. Sub added look forward to seeing some more shenanigans.
@@tichwykes cheers, there's something addictive about the c90's, thanks for the Sub 🤟
Love bog seats
Sometimes larger ports can lead to problems such as slower air flow or excess swirl, it really is a case of suck it and see.
@@toeknee6588 agreed, suck it and see is how I roll 🤣 at £75 for a complete head it's okay to... just have ago, thanks for watching 👍
Random recommended video but recognise you from Pezzas channel so an instand subscribe!
@@SAM-zt2uy Thanks for the sub Sam, much appreciated, yea our Pezza is a good egg...🤟
Ten minutes in, headless chicken. Don't forget the trilogy of tuning. Big valves and big cam need higher compression to work properly. Skim the barrel, flycut the piston valve reliefs and go like a chicken out of hell.
@@chasevans7171 cheers for the advice, I'm certainly no expert, it's all trial and error with me 🤣 I've done the math on the compression using bore, stroke, head volume and it came out as a theoretical 11.3-1 which I thought was high, std is 9.3-1. I'm aiming for low down power over top speed, thanks for watching 👍
why not buy a 4 valve kit for this engine?
@@riky_f that's the plan for the next one, also want a stroker kit 👍
Thailand is a great option for finding aftermarket parts. Like Andreoli 118, he buys parts from Thailand for his 300cc Grom.
The standard front brake fills me with trepidations
Nice job. How do you go on with insurance for a modified bike? A few years ago my insurance stopped my policy when I mentioned a bigger engine on my 50cc monkey!
@@daveb2wright bikesure are pretty good, it's declared as a bigger engine as in cc, however there not interested in things like bigger carbs etc.👍
@Motoshed thanks for taking time out to reply. :-)
Get a 110cc 2 stroke engine in it 😂 2 stroke is just best😂
@@GaryJonrd agreed, love a 2 smoke, maybe in the next Cub? 👍
Its so cool 😅😅❤❤❤❤
@@andrewback614 thanks 🤟

@@neilrichardson3986 Thanks, currently trying to get more power 🤟
Hi, can you please tell me, does the Innova engine fit straight into the cub90 frame?
@@HuaweiTablet-vq5qc Hi, no it doesn't requires cutting and welding the frame, thanks
Thanks
That to me looks like it's running to rich does burn oil, noticed the wave 110i got one myself fast bikes compared to the old c90 which ive owned
@@davidkidd3975 yes the 28mm carb is too big, it only run rich for the first quarter of throttle, acceleration and wide open throttle was perfect on the AFR meter, I am going back to a 26mm carb, I love the wave 110, thanks for watching 👍
C90 is a slug thats idiot proof. When i was 17 (many years ago) Two of my riding friends and me brought some c90's, gave them a once over with our limited teenage experience to prep them for touring and we buggered off to Lockness from Bedford. Over all in a long 4 day weekend, There n back and some trundling about when we got there they busted out 1194 miles!!! and three dead bums. None of them broke down even though they were all a good few years old anyway. The only thing that went wrong was Stuarts brake light stuck on in the rain on the way back. They defiantly could have done with a horsepower boost.
@@Gixie-R sounds like an amazing trip, they are great bikes, thanks for watching
You need to buy you own small lathe and milling machine. You will find yourself empowered to do all sorts of things with machine tools.
@@alanglen5902 now that would be nice 🤟
I found this channel when I was looking for a similar channel for a Brazil Cg125, enjoyed, stayed and subbed. Still haven't found a cg125 one yet, anyone? 🤔
@@gordyl9247 , thanks for sticking around 🤟
Thailand has an abundance of aftermarket performance parts for the Wave 125, including a four valve head for around £125. Sometimes, porting has adverse effects. White Brothers attempted to improve the flow of the Yamaha XT 500 in the late 1970's, only to discover their attempts made the flow worse than the factory design, and they used a flow bench for measurement. Tuning is a fine ballance of moving power across the rev range. The 2019 Cub 110i that I have, for example, has a longer stroke than the previous engine, obviously to improve torque. This would be advantageous, especially with a heavier rider.
I live in Thailand buddy where these small bikes are our main projects , i am currently running a 183 cc 64 mm bore on a homemade BMX bike based on a 125 Wave engine 😎😎🤘🤘🇹🇭🇹🇭
@@karlalton3170 wow that sound crazy 🤪 👍
What dose that cost to do
@@timmymallet3809 not as much as you would think, the performance parts are Maylasian so as an example the head ans barrel cost £75 each.
@ that’s cheap do you offer to do this service if I add the parts
@@timmymallet3809 unfortunately not, I'm not a trained professional, however loads of how to's on TH-cam 👍
You need turbulence in your inlet flow to keep the fuel in suspension in the airflow. Polished ports will allow the fuel to condense or drop out on the port walls. Your ports will need to be opened out to allow your bigger valves to flow properly.
@@gerrymcivor374 , Hi Gerry, I'm new to world of porting, and appreciate all advice...most of what I've done so far is trial and error...with a few success 🤭 your see my porting in the next video...thanks for watching 👍
i didn't know the C90 was a 4-speed.
@@kathrynwhitby9799 , Hi Kath your Right C90's are not 4 speed, mine is slightly modified, with a Honda Innova/grom engine, thanks For watching 👍
@@Motoshed clever!
As soon as i saw more power on a 'crunchie' i thought clutch straight away, great endeavour though good luck 😂
@@stuartburgess2409, Yes hoping to stop the clutch slip, Thanks For Watching 🤟
Best paid plans and all that. 🤦 oh well. Is it some clutch that is designed for a pit bike? As a lot of the engines were a copy of the Honda design. Cool project.
@@paulbudford, yes shame about the larger valve head, as for the clutch it's different to a pitbike, as its a twin clutch, the parts are made for the Maylasian moped racing scene, thanks for Watching 👍
@Motoshed oh cool. They built some crazy fast bikes out there. Racing with no protection in either.
Just one comment/suggestion when you do the inlet leave it a bit rough on the surface it will help air fuel mix exhaust can be finer for gas flow
@@steveedwards90 cheers, I normally finish with a 240 grit, but I'm certainly no expert, thanks for watching 👍

Great mod, guess the sensor part was already there. Bit late now but you could had different colours for different gears.

That is by far the most entertaining C90 I've seen yet. I now want a bigbore for my hideous Suzuki FL125 underbone.
Thanks, it is fun to ride...more mods to come...definitely big bore your FL, thanks for watching 👍
Are you going to be posting the build videos here? Looks like a blast to ride.
Unfortunately, I don't have any footage of the build only pictures, however I do plan on going through the build in more detail, and I have a manual clutch conversion and bigger valve head on the way, so more modifications coming, thanks for watching
Very cool, have you had a look at Mad Munk brake kits ? Think they used to sell a brake disc set up for the 90
