Great video, I’d like to see the complete install. Where did you run it through the firewall and how do you run the wires from the lights into the bay?

I did this mod this afternoon. A couple of comments: the recommended horns connect easily to the OEM electrical fittings. The horn on the passenger side is an easy swap as shown in the vid.. The horn on the driver side doesn't fit well because the cable is restricted by a cable clamp. It is possible to remove the cable clamp and pull more horn harness to the driver side horn. A zip tie can be used to re-secure the harness after you re-route it. You still need to modify the angle of the bracket on the driver side horn to ease the tension on the cable connector before you secure the horn. This involves loosening a nut on the back-side of the horn bracket and rotating the horn about 30 degrees. This approach is better than attaching the horn in the reverse position, which would have caused it to rub against the radiator fins. So, it's more like a 25 minute project, but it does work and the new horns are definitely a better fit for the bold personality of the LC 250, rather than the wimpy OE horn.

Great video! I see the flat washers hole are 1/4” but what is the outer diameter? Is it 3/4” to match the flange?

I was wondering, i see you connected the LOC into just one of the rear speakers, i thought you had to do 2? With my 2024 wrx can i just connect the loc how you did with the right wires on my loc?

Is that 4 AWG Copper Stranded wire? Most switch panels come with short power wires and wont reach all the way to the other side of the vehicle.

some VERY helpful tips for me! Adding a powered sub soon, so I really needed those wire colors. May or may not need the remote blue wire connection to the fuse panel idea too. I am going with beatsonic inline sub too. Such a big job getting this stereo up to par with my last car. Thanks for showing the fuses too!

I did this with our Subaru Outback. Nice red Hella Supertones behind the grill. Big mistake! They were exposed to all that crap coming through the grill. Rusted an dies. Put them in a place that is out of the weather…especially the winter road crap…salt and slush.

Where did you mount the switch panel inside the LC?

Just curious, if the other switch systems you mentioned already come with the wiring and the fuse tap and everything in one box, why did you use the switch pros? What’s the advantage of that system?

OK those speakers rate at 2.3 ohms but the stock system is made for 3.7-4 ohms?

Well shoot- I ran my #2 wire all the way back to the rear battery, I saw the Dissent short video and that’s before the video of the ARB compressor was out. Oh well. I really appreciate you taking time to film and be thorough! So many LC 250 owners are gonna love you!

Is there a predrilled hole in the firewall to run your wire for the light switch panel? Or did you have to make a hole in the firewall? Great video of explaining everything. I did this on my 4Runner and yes it is so much easier with the battery in the front. Now that I have an LC , I need to do this. Thanks!

How are you liking the stinger 10 box? You can still get it, but with the white stitching subs, and not the nice carbon look your box has at the face baffles

The notch or groove should face down because the plastic nubs sticking out of the roof are not perfectly round, hence the extra material removed from the aluminum bracket…

I have a question. That black plastic flap with the rubber front edge at the top of the title picture with the cables lying on it. Where is the rubber edge supposed to fit when you put the bumper on? I tried taking pictures beforehand, but the angle was too weird to see how it is supposed to fit when the bumper is installed. This is driving me crazy, I've had the bumper off twice now trying to make this thing fit properly. Thanks in advance for the help!
