If you are looking at this and annoyed by the design, I too was dry assembling this and got super annoyed. The video I link shows what happens, the detent/tab only applies when initially putting it on the disposal. Once you twist AT ALL it will compress the rubber splash guard, the ring moves up and it is free to spin like the older models installs. It just barely holds the ring for initial contact. I had one installed 2 and a half years ago and it has yet to pass inspection. Throws codes like crazy and the factory reps and service technicians keep trying to snowball me into thinking it's ok. They even replaced the motherboard ($2000 part) which showed signs of overheating but still throwing codes. Touch and hold the service icon (hat) untill it turns green and you'll be able to see your last 10 system events and your resettable faults and even run an airflow verification test....If you Haven't bought one....Congratulations!

I have the Lochinvar Combi boiler. It is a nightmare with constant need of repair. I paid 4 times its cost in 3 years and got none of the money for the parts supposedly under warranty! I’m an architect and have banned all Lochinvar products from my projects

Nibco are the worst ball valve , I have been installing many of them but the packing nuts come from the factory loose and we need tight the nuts every time we been installing or will we have leak , never buy those pieces of crap

It sucks the heat out of your house. Fine in summer but when you are heating in winter it will cost more to heat the space where the water heater is. No free lunch. A better alternative is an outdoor air to water heat pump that uses the ambient heat outside to heat water inside.

Can you please share a video of how to do this after concrete is poured? I don’t believe that you guys have field tested your products. I have 35 floor drains that need to be raised up and they take me close to an hour or more to spend them up. I’m going to suggest that the supply house stop stocking these.

This is garbage. You guys add an hour and a half per floor drain. Please tell me how to unscrew these because concrete goes all around the sides.

I have some negative experience with this pre assembled set up. The discharge pipe between the pump and the hole on the cover is not secured well. The rubber gasket is not sealed well. The pump failed because sewerage water back flowed from the leaking rubber gasket. I wish liberty pump can do better quality control
